Saving on power to pay the mortgage for power, but untold cost mental space. I myself have a solar and battery for camping and it is great to fiddle with for an activity, much the same to be said with home solar even grid tied, as it appears.

Big savings. Are you planning a long term drive down on usage? E.g. washing stuff at middle of day for most solar or doing something smart with agile? What’s drawing the most power? I agree with others that some more battery will help you further..

i try to do this already i work from home so do it at the best agile times or when the suns out

I have not followed your install but from what I gather in this video, if finances allow, you could stand to double your battery capacity. But only if finances allow. I did sub because I like the down to earth presentation of facts and tips.

yes i wouldn't mind doubling the battery its been on my mind to do it and see what the cost would be

Hi, 9.2KW Solar here with a 9.5KW Giv battery and using Flux at 2am till 5am to charge at 0.12p, We keep on flux all year round, As you said most ROI are around 6 years in the UK, Can i just say that this year was low solar unlike last year which we did a lot better, Lets hope 2025 is a great year for solar.

Would an EV with an ev intelligent go be better in the future with an 7p tariff to charge?

That's what I'm going onto wotu my new power wall (13kw battery) and solar. Charge overnight at 7p, use the battery all day, tops up with solar in the day, and charges my car with solar with excess

@@Lerpzoidyou'd be better off charging your battery and car off-peak at 7p/kWh and exporting excess at 15p/kWh. 😊
