Everything I shoot has noticeable grain to it. I'm not using slog I'm using cine 2 with cinema color and sharpness -7 with no other changes to pp5. No matter what I try video always looks grainy in the shadows. Anyone know what I could be doing wrong? I'm not going over iso 800.

Hi guys please someone give me some help here !! I sold all of my gear to go to Sony. I film weddings and most of the times I am the broll shooter. There are some times though that I need to record continuesly for 20 minutes or maybe 25. I have a budget of 1400 euros now and that's all. Should I go for the a6500 and a sigma 30mm f1.4 or the a6300 a sigma 30mm f1.4 and a gimbal ? And one more thing . Does the a6300 overheat faster than the a6500? I know about the firmware update but this doesn't mean that it doesn't overheat. It doesn't turn off. I've never use a Sony that's why I am asking. Please someone help me out here cuz I need to take a decision really fast... Thanks in advance... I would love to if someone took the time to answer :p

Someone please help! I just got my hands on a brand new Sony a6300 and am having some problems. For the record, I am filming in either XAVC S HD at 120p 100M or XAVC S 4K at 24p 100M. I am in manual mode, so my ISO, aperture, and shutter speed are all set. As soon as I hit record (if I am filming in one of the two file formats listed above), the monitor screen crops in and gets darker. If I am in MP4 file format, it only crops it in - the video does not get darker. The ISO does not appear to actually be changing when I hit record, but it does get darker, and still looks dark when I play it back. I don't know how else to explain it. Does it have something to do with my 120fps? Because if I put it in 24, it doesn't dim the screen... I AM SO CONFUSEDDD
@Gaet5025 жыл бұрын
hello madison have you find out this problem ? thanks a lot
@SwordArtOnlineFan1015 жыл бұрын
You usually shoot in 120fps where the lighting is good. Shutter should be twice the fps.

not always, I shoot in low light all the time and it is not grainy, I've never had to fix it in post. It matters how you shoot it, expose it, and light you're subject.
