I absolutely *hate* guys like that! 😡 There was a similar guy (but tall and skinny, lol) who did just about the same thing to my little sister when she was working at a local diner. I was in college at the time. A couple of my friends and I drove down from school and waited in the diner two nights running until her stalker finally came in. He did his usual routine, trying to impress her. Amazingly, he said *he* worked for the CIA. What a coincidence, eh? We waited until he left and followed him out into the parking lot. After a brief, um, err, "conversation," we convinced him that he was going to eat elsewhere for the rest of his life. Creepshow.

Dramatic much? Not doubting the creeper status, but he sounds like THAT guy who frequents a restaurant and hits on the staff because they're attractive and friendly. I wouldn't call it a stalking though. I've worked in restaurants way too long and what you described is semi common. Socially awkward guys and creepers see the friendliness as interest and consider it a green light to hit on the staff. Creeper and gross for soliciting you for sex, yes. Stalker, no.
