My parents say to me “if you listen to Cradle of Filth, you will go to hell.” They are just stupid. I listened to the band since 2001. Nymphetamine was the first metal album I ever bought! My mom heard me listening to it when I was around 13 and she "confiscated" it and I NEVER saw it again😂 nonetheless I get really nostalgic when I listen to COF and Dani is just such a great dude, I'm glad I came across this interview!

Great interview. First got into Cradle after a guy I met on holiday was raving about Dusk. Bought it and was blown away. Saw them 97 for the first time and every tour since. Met Dani many times and he's the eloquent gentleman you'd expect. Keep up the channel, respect \o/

Cradle of filth. The first band to envelope my mind and pull me into the world of black metal. So much so, that I immediately changed my entire guitar style and music model to fit into that world. I will never forget how 20 + years ago, CoF changed my life, opened my eyes, and my mind for the better. Thank you Dani. (Even spelled my name like him in jr high) Lame…I know!

Been into Cradle of Filth since 1994, I haven't been a fan of every album which is only a few, but I have really liked their recent output and they are still legendary. I saw them live for the first time in late 2017, and that was an amazing experience!

I was in a band that toured with COF in Aus in 2009, Dani was so hungover after a boozy night that he walked off stage after half their set, never to return :p But we were doing shows every second night, being my first proper tour as a vocalist, that saved my vocals big time

I was a death metal vocalist and still do it here and there as a hobby. The story from Dani about going on stage with a massive hangover, yeah, done that. It really does suck and you really do just turn off somehow. After that it's all about passing out.

Well, that would be a pretty short story, as CoF pretty quickly started becoming a goth dance combo. Which is not bad in itself, unless you start bashing metal as "dogmatic" (in a time when extreme metal had just started to exist) for no good reason but to be talked about... Yet, here we are, 2023, CoF is remembered by a few but far from the mainstream megahit they wanted to become. And extreme metal is still extreme metal, as underground, filthy, toxic and brutally awesome as always.

I just found this but Dani's Vocal range hate on CoF for this that and sardonic wrath, I mean before this Artist and Since I've never heard anyone hit that extreme high pitch screams as it has cracked my voice a few times on it! I not big fan of death metal, but a friend of mine got me interested in COF, my friend Anthony Polsino died in November 19th 2022 in a house fire we were in, he was a big fan of COF ,as several other death metal bands. Anthony and I seen COF at a club in Worcester MA for the Godspeed on the Devils thunder tour ,it had to be one of the best concerts I ever seen, I am pissed that my friend is not here to see the new ablum COF just released. Aye Dani I still would like to see you become a Mayor of the city you live in
