Thank you for sharing! I am 34 and was finally diagnosed with adhd after years of struggling with so many things including depression. I have a med consult on June 1st and I pray I am just as lucky as you to find the right medication.

I understand there is a balance between understanding what he is struggling with and making excuses. Medication for ADHD is just glasses for your brain. Can you function without them, yes you can. But why just function when you could be thriving. It takes a lot of trial and error to get the right medication fit. If you keep trying different ones and you aren't finding the right one, then you need to pursue other avenues. It could be sleep apnea or a different diagnosis. I highly recommend you watch my other ADHD videos. There are tons of tips and tricks that are not medication you could start with to see positive changes.
