Beautiful, I love the pot rack for the camera equipment. It's seems like it would be a great space to be creative in! I love the idea for the embossing powder. I keep my in little snap lid containers, but this is great, you don't have to have paper underneath to catch! Great tour and lovely room. Thank you for sharing.

I know this is a year old, and someone may have already pointed this out. Labeling clear drawers makes sense because labels aren’t just for finding things, they’re for knowing where to put things back. If one of your drawers is ever completely empty, you’ll know what’s supposed to go in there.

I use the little plastic storage for my dies never thought of using them for embossing powder...I use plastic containers with plastic spoons..I need you to help organize my room...LOL nice

You have a beautiful and amazing craft room, you really have great taste. I know what you mean about your Dad’s artwork. My Dad had dementia and he would have never sat and done crafts, but he loved his art class when the lady would come to the Elderly home. When he passed away, I had found some of his art pieces in the bin. I took every single piece, and I dug right in there to make sure of it. I know to another person’s eye, it may look like a four year old had done it, but I love those pieces so much. They mean the world to me, and I’m so happy I was there so they didn’t end up in the dump. Hey, we were Daddy’s little girls right? We were the twinkle in his eye. So special. Great memories, great times. Please don’t get sad, remember his laughter and all the fun you both had. On a different topic, if you’d like to sell your Xyron, I’m all ears. I don’t know where you live in Canada, but I might be your neighbor. We live in the Interior of Alaska. My Inkie Fingers - Oh my goodness, I am ever so sorry. I’m sorry for assuming and I’m sorry to have made you tear up. I know exactly how you feel about your Dad, and I’m so happy he’s with you to make lots more memories. I think it’s the coolest thing ever and smiling for you. I have hundreds of stories with my Dad, and I even told my daughter and her friend one yesterday before I had even seen your video. It was kinda cute that her friend had pulled out a chair so he could really hear the story. It was either that or he knows I’m long winded. Nah, he said some really nice things after and he had put the chair back. I know, shocker with kids these days. The chair I mean. 😊. They’re good kids. So I won’t go into any more story telling, this is about crafts after all and what a great channel it is. It’s not about hunting or fishing or any of the funny times I had with my Dad, which you would have roared with laughter by the way. I will say this, there isn’t a time that I ever remember my Dad and I arguing. Ever. I do remember getting yelled at as a kid, but we never had an argument between us. We really liked each other’s company, and I don’t know how many times we’d just sit in beautiful silence together. He loved that and taught me people don’t need to fill the air just to the fill the air. Okay, I’m gonna quit while I’m ahead. I will change the subject and let you know I had subscribed yesterday. I like real people that can get me smiling and laughing and what a great name, Inkie Fingers, too cool. So, you haven’t tried your Xyron yet? Could you do me a huge favor and do a video on it? I’ve wanted one since I first seen it a few months ago. My 15 year old daughter does too. Wants me to get one that is, so she can play with it. What is about stickers and grown women and teenagers too? Kids? Yes. Us? No idea. See? There is another idea to put on your already full calendar. Maybe in a few weeks when you’re blank on ideas. I left a job I loved and had for 17 years because my amazing boss retired and her replacement was absolutely horrible and the worst part was I shared an office with her and she was always there instead of put in the field where she could be Always trying to tell me how to do my job, the job I managed just fine with for 17 years at the school dist where the superintendent was perfectly happy with my ability to do my job and how ever they wanted it done She is still there and all my co workers from 3 school districts left because she was a nightmare

My scrap room is upstairs, where it will have to stay and our dog had to have her left hind leg amputated after incredible, horrible mistreatment when she was only 6months old. We adopted her when she was 11 months, but although she can easily use stairs, it's too heavy on her pelvic and hip bones. Pity ...

Beautiful studio and great storage for the product you have. For your cube units, check for fabric bins that about 10.5" square that may fit. Also, I recently discovered that the Iris 8x8 paper boxes fit perfectly in them too. Thanks for sharing your lovely room.

Absolutely love your room. The vertical set up on your work table is perfect. I have many of the acrylic drawers and they also lived on my craft desk ( I say lived because I'm in the middle of moving) but the ones fell in love with are the embossing powder ones. I love watching your videos from the US. I have a 4 drawer file cabinet passed on to me (never thought about painting it) and I do the same system with my cardstock. However in my retired drawer, I do the Jennifer McGuire trick of using job ticket holders instead of the file folders. (Now I will go back and add the marker color to the label.) It freed up so much space. I keep the open sheets in the holder, then place any unopened pack of cs behind it. Using this method, you may not need your overflow space. Lol Check out her video, sorry I am not sure how to attach it here.

What great organisation, I have a few of your ideas also in my room but we don’t seem to have a really good cheap craft shop therefore have to overcrowd things in the same box. I was wondering what size you cut your card stock so it is always on hand. That is something I must do. I am new to card making and therefore have a lot of the bought cards but would like to cut my own. Hope you can help. Thanks once again. Jody Hepburn 🤓

I cut my 8 1/2 X 11 cardstock in half for cards. I score them and always have on hand. I really only precut white. I also precut my mats, card fronts and inserts. Cut them to the size you prefer. I prefer 4 1/8 X 5 3/8.😉💗

Wow! Very neat and compact! Great idea for the ribbons! I just use clothes pins to hang my clothes after they wash...lol. Off to purchase a few packs, those loose ribbons drive me crazy no matter how I try to keep them neat. Oh by d way, anything you don't use or don't need I will be happy to take them off your hands, hehehe...or you can have a "Give Away" with them and have a few selected winners. See it as purging your craft room for new items....just an idea.

For the cube, I bought the white stands you put into the kitchen cabinets so I can put smaller baskets that go over each other in the same cube. Worked like a charm and you get double storage space. 😃

Im jabbering too much! I go up too, unfortunately my man is not into carpentry at ALL, so I pay someone or DIY. How do you store 12x12 paper, thats a difficult one for me? Hi June :) Don't worry, I love reading your 'jabber' haha. It's so nice to create a new space. I hope it ends up to be everything you dream it will be. As for my 12 x 12 I store it all in those 12 x 12 plastic bins under my cricut. I have another closet full too. Sometimes it's overwhelming how much 12 x 12 paper I have (used to scrapbook). I like the plastic drawer storage because the papers are protected from the sun and dust. :)

VERY interesting and quite useful! I LOVE the 1st grey basket with your pre-cuts etc! A tip I picked up from LuNaCreations, a demonstrator in France: she has put little pieces of rather thick felt o clothespins so as to NOT leave indentations on finished and even semi finished projects (where ink and/or glue need to dry). HOW did you make the gorgeous HUGE letters for your DREAM? Post-it Tape??? Another thing to hunt down in The Netherlands ... What are Nuvo Drops, please? GREAT idea to store your ribbons with the clothes pegs! About 5 years ago, my form of rheumatism got so bad I had to give up my tiny web store called Scrap2b. Although I did manage to sell most of my products at discounted prices, a lot was left that I just couldn't (wouldn't) part with. I never truly reorganized; my darling husband Peter custom made shelves for my large Red Original Sizzix dies and I have many. However, I became a Stampin' Up addict and turned to becoming a demonstrator myself within 4 weeks last Feb (when I purchased my 1st ever Stampin' Up products and decided I at least wanted that 20% discount, so I received my Starter's Kit before March was over LOL! Made Bronze Elite last month, so you can probably imagine I need an overhaul of my scrap room. My FB page is Stamp2b! I need to work on that one more, too. Been busy, on vacation, had minor surgery, visiting my brother-in-law and sister-in-law who fulfilled their lives' dream by starting a camp site of their own - in the Czech Republic, leaving next Sunday. Anyway, with more orders coming in (I somehow goofed up using my Bonus Coupons), I realized that the reorganization needs to come soon, so yours is the 1st video on craft room organization I've seen. Going to watch a lot more, but you definitely gave me some wonderful tips. btw, I refuse to purchase from Amazon because conditions for their workers are SO poor. Thank you for everything in this highly instructive video!

I have wall papered a few times in my life and the one time I had to apply the paste was the easiest. It is so much easier than dealing with water and ‘booking’ and shrinkage. The paper is gorgeous, go for it! I noticed you painted your craft room the same colour I did! Maybe it’s a Canadian thing! Everyone who sees it looks at my like I’m crazy for choosing such a bright colour but I love it! Glad I found your channel!

My Inkie Fingers It is, I promise! You put the paste on the wall if I am remembering correctly and then put the paper up. Think of it as putting glue on your card base and putting your elements on top! Wallpapering in general is not the easiest thing. I guarantee you and your spouse will be swearing but it is worth it!
