Just a fun bit of trivia: I didn't figure this out myself, but kudos to anyone who did: Desha's name is a pretty obvious reference: Desha => Des Ha => Ha Des => Hades

yeah lotta pun and wordplay names in this. queen hilling is the *healer*, king bosse is well...the boss and so on.

Most of the names in this show are like that actually Apeas => A pea su => Su pea a => spear Dorshe => Do ru shi => Shi ru do => Shield Bebbin (like hebi, meaning snake) Bosse (literally boss) Bojji (like Ōji, meaning prince) Daida (like Kyōdai, meaning brother)

Glad I'm not the only one that gets this hyped over Bojji. I remember the first time watching this, I kept yelking stuff like "THERE YA GO, THAT'S MY BOY!" Like a dad watching his kid play baseball and get a hone run. Maybe it's because I want to be a dad someday and Bojji's like the son I want to have, or maybe because Bojji's just that likeable of a little bean, which is something I can appreciate. The story accels in making Bojji very likeable and charming without hitting Gary Stu territory: his charm and general likeability is very natural and magnetic. I was very excited and hapoy to watch this series through and watch it again here. Thanks Alicia, I hope the coming days are kind and loving to you.

4:03 i mean, they HAVE bread in the underworld. It's to maintain order, and to protect the overworld. If you allow one small monster to leave, it would be VARY EASY for dangerous monsters to leave too.

Last episode gave us three huge hints as to what the potion being force-fed to Daida was. They 1) killed a phoenix (symbol of rebirth), 2) fetched the "jewel of reincarnation" from its ashes, and 3) said the potion would only work on someone with Bosse's blood.

When he said missed by a hairs breadth I couldn’t help but laugh cause that’s what my math teacher wrote by accident on the test yesterday, breadth instead of width cuz we were talking about bread.
