Thanks for putting this out there for newly diagnosed diabetics. I really wish there would've been something lile this when I was diagnosed 41 years ago. I was diagnosed a week before my 4th birthday. I still remember the razor blade style lancets and 1 inch 18gauge needles I had to use. As well as the meters that were roughly the size of a brick. I'm glad you survived your first low blood sugar.

Thanks for sharing this. Glad they updated your diagnosis because it’s so important for the treatment. It would be funny to see the months before diagnosis and see the symptoms but what we rationalized them as. Oh, I’m peeing a lot; well duh, I’m drinking a lot of fluids, that’s why. I think we all went through that one. 😄. Looking back it’s so obvious. ☮️

I was diagnosed in January this year at 33 yrs old. The parallels are crazy. Also while you guys have to pay for health care and meds in America you seem get better tech faster than here on NHS in UK! All the best.

Wow, that was intense. Thank you for sharing your journey. I’ve been a T2D since 2010. It’s been a roller coaster to say the least. I finally just started using a Libre 3 and it’s so cool being in control. I’m on Insulin and Mounjaro, hoping to drop the insulin altogether as I increase the Mounjaro dosage. Your attitude is inspiring. I wish you the best of luck in your journey.

@@diabe_tech I have been a diabetic for about twenty years. I have had a crazy journey as well. I have an insulin pump and have been on it for about little over ten years. I just started recently with a Dexcom G7 and love it. Thanks to you for all this information and I look forward to all your videos.

Your first Tik Tok shown, 4/26/21 was the day b4 my 31st birthday. What was the day the doctor misdiagnosed you as T2D and what day was your correct diagnosis, 5/31/21?

On a different matter did you say you take your pump and G6 sensor through full body scanners at airports? Also do you send spare sensors through hand luggage X-ray machines? Tia
