This unequivocally the best description of any medication and how it’s treated in the scientific community. I was fine my ENTIRE life without using any analgesics, for the most part. Rarely ever taking acetaminophen or over-the-counter NSADS. When I turned 33, I started having all of these weird and painful symptoms throughout my body, chronic fatigue, and a host of weird symptoms. I was prescribed opioids for it. I was hesitant, but it absolutely helped the pain when I had it. When I would feel (somewhat) normal, I didn’t touch them. However, my doctor started looking at me like I was making everything up. He fired me as a patient without even telling me. It’s 4 years later and I’m still feeling the way I did 5 years ago with no doctor even caring about me because of the stigma that opioid medications have. What a life to live…lol
