I like to add a bit of palm sugar, and then balance with lime juice. I have lemongrass, kaffir lime , green onion and mint growing in garden so I use those when I can. We love this dish!

This recipe is virtually foolproof as long as you have the right ingredients. Thai Holy basil works so well in this, along with the mint. You could use Bermuda onion, but shallots are best. The dressing can be punched up with a diced Thai bird chili to augment the chili flakes. Tip: Taste the dressing and adjust before using. My batch needed extra lime juice and a pinch of sugar to balance it out.

Larb is my favorite dish ever! Only I love it with ground pork instead of chicken, although both are great. I always said if I were ever on death row, Thai Larb would be my choice for my last meal, LOL. Seriously, try it and you will LOVE it.

She's wonderful! I have some ground turkey on hand that I haven't really figured out what to do with; I imagine it's an easy swap to make here. I have the rest, so this might be on my menu for the week. Edit: Yes. While I haven't eaten a lot of larb in my life to have a good baseline taste for it, I think it turned out quite nicely.
