Lets talk black lives matter. It didn't feel right to post some random vlog or haul video without talking about Black Lives Matter. I wanted to share my thoughts on current events in hopes of continuing the dialogue and being part of the movement.

As a black man, I have felt just as much racism from my own black community towards me as any other community.

This is what I tell my students!!! We have gang population and I always say why are you fighting your own people?!!! You have more in common with them than you want to admit!!! Mostly they don’t take me serious but I hope when they are older they understand my words.

The sad thing is that the majority of people have not elevated to ur level of thought. Even some that protest aren’t there with the knowledge. I have asked very difficult questions to those in the streets. A lot of youth are out there but not informed. I support a strong, peaceful, nonviolent, well informed protest. One that is not circled around an Instagram agenda.

Not referring To u, but I wonder how many people will all forget this in the months to come. Right now it’s a hot issue due to social media. The youth has grabbed it. It’s easy to post or repost. How many will volunteer and give time to the communities they post hashtags about. As a Christian first,all humanity that struggles matters.

I love culture. But at 40 years of age..... I feel “race” is restricted thinking. Yes, I have a black and Filipino basis. But if u look at our family reunions now, it more about the family name and culture. We are so mixed now. My kids are literally black Filipino Mexican and Italian. I feel if I wanted to, I can be offended any were that I look. I chose not to. Love. Love of humanity and variety which joins and gathers. Not which divides and pints that u are not like me.

Vega Family Vlogs as a black man. I have witness my on community being just as racist to whites, Mexicans and Asians. If we want to stop racism. It must stop within. We can’t lean on “them white people” type thinking. It’s a snake eating it’s own tail. Btw. I appreciate ur thoughts

The Daniel Process we def need to me more aware of the racism within our own communities for sure and we should stop pitting minority against minority but I feel that as of right now we need immediate change in our laws to stop the systemic oppression and give everyone true equality. We currently have systems in place that keep people in poverty. Keep them in “hoods” keep them in low funded schools. Keep them incarcerated. Our system is broken.

Vega Family Vlogs as a man of Faith, true equality is something we should strive to. Humanity needs it. But “true equality” in a capitalist society will never happen. The dollar will always take a front seat to a utopia of equality. When profit is a goal, there will always be someone to get stepped on

Vega Family Vlogs for future notice.... u and I tend to agree on plenty subjects. Whether is political or just day to day type stuff. If we ever disagree, I want u to know I always welcome the conversation. I value all opinions. Even if I disagree or have a different view. I have learned over the years that my mind is not always correct. It’s just mine so it sometimes feels that way.

I couldn't bring myself to watch it but I know what happened to George Floyd it was murder and I'm so glad he didn't die in vain
