While I do feel like BDK has tons of extra Runic power and Runes in general since SL S4 and in DF, the amount of random one shots in high keys that im experiencing almost necessitates that flood of resources in my mind. A pull like the Double shellbreakers in Throne comes to mind. I feel like there would need to be a general increase of BDK's passive survivability to start taking away the extra Runic power and runes without putting us in too much danger. As far as the Talents go, I think Red Thirst needs to be moved in the tree, and if not moved, set down to 1 talent point. Bloodshot should be moved up in the talent to make it more accessible. Bonestorm needs to be redesigned completely and moved out of a capstone. It may be the most anti snyergistic capstone on any spec in the game right now. In my ideal world, gorefiends would be on the class tree so it is accessible to all DK specs. This would give them access to another AOE stop, which is sorely needed with the amount of kicks required in these dungeons. If this wont be in the class tree, making it baseline would move BDK closer back to being the king of mob control in M+. I think a more aggresive change would be making purgatory baseline. While the left side of the tree is nice and has very defensive talents that I enjoy taking, its really just the pipeline to Purg on that side. BDK HP is too volatile to not be taking Purg. It is easily the most required capstone in the entire game. I am not a huge fan of capstones being mandatory. I feel like you should be pathing your talents to a capstone because it fits your build, not because it is absolutely required to not die in content.

After taking a LONG hiatus from tanking I'm seriously thinking about getting back into tanking again and the only tanking classes that I'm interested in are BDK, Bear druid, Prot warrior and Brew Monk. SO right now I'm using the new follower dungeon to learn the basics of tanking again. I'm not looking to tank season 4 (which I should try) but I'm hoping to get back into tanking in War Within so I'm keeping a close eye on the 4 tank classes I'm interest in.

i hope everyone of my healers feel atleast different enough that it can be refreshing to me and ill be happy..but the zone looks great from watching your stream for a few hours earlier..excited to see what's coming

Ya the zone is sooo gorgeous. My main hope is that all the different hero talent trees have distinct enough gameplay and visuals to feel like you are actually changing your build. So far a lot don't seem to have that but I assume visuals are still heavily being worked on.

I like their take on BDK problems. But Right now flooding is only a problem during CDs I feel, outside of that it’s fine. I think they should also make marrowrend baseline, I don’t see the point of it being a talent, you would never run without marrowrend (I think that’s also what they mean with leveling experience). What I would like to see is a talent that uses overcapped boneshields (give a max of 15 stacks where each stack gives more armor, so overcapping has value) or a talent that basically bursts over capped boneshields for some value. Maybe you can bake it into shattering bones that every overcapped shield would Burst for half the dmg or smt. The talent that reset grip CD should also work outside of your own kills, would be nice value for m+. I think Will of the Necropolis should be a 1 point capstone. And I hope DK will get the pvp talent in the class tree that lets them use AMS on other people. That my first take on ideas.

Hmm I guess we shall see what they will do hope it;s for the better and any DK spec will not become "Where is the dps?" spec Also hoping that someday they make the class mount separate colors avaliable to all speces

Absolutely. Didn't get MUCH testing done on it in difficult situations, but the one dungeon we did was wild. Really dominated that one, it felt like.

blood dk is insane rn i love having more healing then healers and its funniest tank to play other then its lack of speed but blood dk is in a good spot imo

resource flooding has crept up and been plagueing quite a few specs for some time now. for Arms warrior and Windwalker for example, it has come to unintuitive and overall negative results on gameplay. Blizzard has acknowledged these problems in recent class posts and have layed out really promising changes to adress them. i expect them to do the same for DK, and if they do ; things are looking good.

What is the modality of those changes for other specs? Is it going to be a net nerf to potential power, especially in the wake of rotational errors? That's the way I feel about Blood DK. I can make rotation errors and not be punished anywhere near as bad as it used to be.

@@heythereguysitsMetro its basicly making the building/spending more delicate and intuitive. from the looks of it, yes. its going to be a net nerf to potential power if we don't manage our resource properly. but that is what we want, as it allows more skill expression. arms for example has a really large room for error because it is so rage flooded that managing it well is pretty much impossible. you find yourself unable to spend it fast enough (unless you skip priorities) all the time.

@@ztormur6504 Ya, that sounds like Blood DK too then. Well hope it wont be too big of a loss. The reason I am worried is because I don't feel like every single tank has this issue, so if say ONLY blood dk gets nerfed in this way, then they are going to really fall behind.

BDK gets slappy hands, grabby hand, and choky hand. It deserves to have its mass grabby hands back so it becomes the hand-centric class it was always meant to be.

I've said this in the live stream. I really really really want deathbringer to bring back dual wield tanking. It just sounds so perfect to mix blood and frost that way.

In this vain I would love to see stances back :D jokes aside, having the chance to play with smt else than fallen crusader for all eternity would be nice. At least have some options.

Blood suffers from a lack of visual effects. Also suffers from not having Soul Gorge from Legion. They are doing literally every single thing except add in Soul Gorge. Blizzard devs are the KINGS of being stubborn. The answers are already there and in front of them, but they won't add it.

I have never heard of anything called soulgorge. You mean soul drinker I assume right? The thing that when you overheal you gain hp temporarily? It's funny because I looked back to try to figure out what you meant and saw, ya literally every other thing from the artifact is in the game. I just don't think soul drinker is a very interesting spell though. It would potentially save you from one shots but so does the mastery and that is soooo heavily buffed from the old days. But if that is what you meant it does seem like it's the last obvious thing. I personally would rather more utility over survival though.

On frost you almost dont use RP and on unholy u almost dont use Runes, thats what they meant with resource flooding. I got super excited when i saw this, but i this wont be enough tbh. Blood talent tree is very bad with a lot of dead talents or things u can never pick, it needs a lot of help and flooding resources is not really a problem for frost or breath... people will always find a way to make it last longer as long it is uncapped i say just cap it at 30-45 secs and all good, the real problem is that we have no buttons worth to press that costs rp for both bos and obliteration, personally i would like to see frost getting deleted and remade from 0. Unholy is the one who doesnt need many changes but it will be the one who will get everything they want cause blizzard thinks this class have only one spec.

Yes Froststrike feels terrible and is very weak, and often you can’t afford to press it even since you have better proccs. Same goes for unholy. Sometimes you have a spree of sudden doom proccs (Free RP spenders), this makes you capped on RP AND Runes. I think what would make all DK specs insanely more fun is having the Energy classes 1 sec GCD.

Completely disagree with the unholy take in m+ at least anyone who mains the class will tell you unholy is sooooo pull dependent in m+ 20plus mobs sure its nice but pack to pack your doing less damage then tank. And your single target isn't great due to specing into aoe. It needs fixing bad

frost/uh both need entire reworks on the level of ret lol. this won't be enough and barely addresses the actual issues with the specs. most people as frost dont even want run to breath yet since wod they have had such a weird focus on it. "While we understand Breath is a very divisive ability it offers a very unique gameplay experience that not many of our other specs offer" maybe theres a reason other specs in the game don't work like that?? also lmao if they dont do something about dnd feeling awful to play around. not lookin good so far but ill keep my fingers crossed. ive gotten this far as dk off absurd amounts of copium. whats 1 more xpac?

@@heythereguysitsMetro Yeah I've mained other classes quite frequently in xpacs when dk has felt very bad. its just sad because breath never existed pre wod. its a problem they created with the spec and have yet to fix lol. I seem to always enjoy the underperforming specs that barely get any love haha survival/arms/fdk
