My Thoughts on Each and Every Weapon [13k Sub Special]

Some guy celebrates a cherished and cool chievement... course it's kinda late, lazy and long but don't tell him that, he's too busy celebrating.
As I said at the end of the video, I'll be uploading bi-weekly and not weekly so the editing of these videos actually looks good rather than mediocre.
As for the Patreon announcement, the poll is just a simple yes or no, I'm working out the finer details of it but the appeal to it will be having your loadouts appear in the video during the many poster sections I tend to do, the Poopy Joe thing will still remain so if you can't support me but still want to be in the video you don't need to sweat it and get in by being the Monkey Man.
If you paid attention I also said I have enough video ideas for TF2 to last me three years... give or take... here's a quick list of the next few videos I have planned, obviously I'll run a poll here or there deciding what people wanna see but these are the next 4.

2:04 I did the math(s) and the winger does in fact have a lower dps than stock but not by much. Here's the dps at base damage (No ramp-up or fall-off) I also threw in the pocket pistol for good measure: Stock: 90 dps (6 shots * 15dmg) Winger: 85 dps (5 shots * 17 dmg) Pocket Pistol: 105 dps (7 shots * 15 dmg) Even though the winger has only 5 dps less than stock by the time its fired those shots you have to reload but with stock you can shoot for another second before having to reload. Also the pocket pistol has higher dps than stock.

I'm actually going to have a little bit of a hot take on the Classic: It's the only properly balanced sniper rifle Sniper has. It only seems underpowered due to how ludicrously strong his other primaries are. It actually forces him to pick and choose what his targets are, his stated purpose, and since it can't headshot until it's fully charged it makes each shot of his feels more important and it pretty much removes flickshot BS as a tactic or at least really makes it harder to pull off. Maybe it's just me, it could very well be, but I've never seen a bot use the Classic either so that says something. Just my two cents. I hope you keep making videos man, I really enjoy them!

They also never expect you to actually get good with it and it's fantastic at shutting down scouts and spies. With the benefit of being able to see the entire battlefield with a full charge being able to pick important targets way easier. Also I am 100% positive that the classic would be top tier if you could fire while off the ground. The whole "can't fire off ground" I'm guessing is due to it being similar to the machina, where either the hitscan bullet or the tracer doesn't align while in the air(?) people dont know how to use it, everyone goes offensive with the defense class, which is fine for the Tomi or Stock but the brass beast, designed to exaggerate heavy's strengths and weaknesses, runs into some problems. Its not the best pick for offense but I can tell you from personal experience that damage is insane on defense

in pubs the match is decided by the top 4 players on each team + if the medic is sentient or not. Generally the 4 topfrags will be playing explosive classes (demo, soldier) or a bullet class (sniper, heavy) All of those except for soldier only have their damage type, and most soldiers run gunboats anyway.

quick fix is most definitely not the weakest medigun. Maybe for competitive but in casual it is god tier. If you can keep more teammates alive than the enemy its hard to loose. Do not walk up as a disguised as a enemy and don't immediately go to a health or ammo pack since that's what nearly 80% of spies do.

Its pretty common for pubbies to look at weapons and not see the bigger picture, and ask questions like "how can I get kills with this?". Sometimes a question might pop up "how can me and my buddy get kills with this?" And from a pubbie perspective the FoW is very very laughably weak. What's the scout going to do? Walk melee range into a target and beat them to death with a 10 damage weapon? In a gamemode like 6s where you have 2 scouts on both teams, and a medic and demoman on both teams if a scout runs into them and slaps the demo or medic with the fan, even if they die miserably, that medic takes 135 damage from every pill rocket or sticky, plus no matter how far away the medic is, scouts can still deal 135% damage with their pistols due to the falloff not existing with crits or minicrits. Sure it's garbage if you're a pubby who doesn't think much about the advantages on a higher level in organized play. But that's fine, really it is, there's nothing wrong with not caring about how the game plays out competitively. However, if you ever have a serious suggestion on how a weapon should be balanced, pubby suggestions are notoriously bad, and thankfully aren't taken into consideration when an update *eventually* happens. So in essence, nothing is wrong with playing tf2 on a casual level strictly, but try to get in some actual competitive experience (not the competitive matchmaking) if you want to make comments on how a weapon should be balanced.

Everyone underestimates the quick fix. Not dying is a supper valuable tool. Sure it does not have the game changing bursts of stock, or the kritz, but it is balanced out by giving your team a small increasing advantage throughout the game through keeping your entire team healthier than the enemy team, if they don't have someone running the quick fix. And with how quickly the quick fix builds uber, you can pop it when ever something goes the other teams way.

What I want to know is why does it seem like anytime Pyro gets anything that helps him be more than just a competent class instantly gets reviled and causes pyro to be nerfed or that specific weapon to be banned in competitive. Same thing with heavy," oh we cant let heavy get any weapons that helps him get to the fight faster because itll slow down the game." At that point just ban the heavy class and now no game will be at risk of being slowed down. Like the Dragons Fury is still banned in comp and some of the reasons are "oh it helps Pyro kill people too quickly." You still need 3 shots atleast for even light classes IF can land the shots. But I guess killing someone reliably with only 3 shots is too OP, even though Demo and Soldier exist...

I'm prepared to disagree. The Beggar's accuracy is a probably for long range obviously but's it's much less of a problem in short range. Being able to fire a consistent stream of 24 rockets without (technically) reloading is really underrated. ESPECIALLY with a kritz pocket. I know boots are better overall for a roaming Soldier but the Panic Attack is so good as a secondary. Bombing in and deleting someone with it then switching back to your launcher to deal with further targets is strong as hell. The Loch n load I already defended in your demoman video so put simply the faster projectile speed and lack of mid air tumble animation makes this thing pretty strong at longer ranges than any other demo primary. The Loose Cannon DOES have faster projectiles too but the charge time means it has a much slower fire rate to use effectively. Ali Baba's Wee Booties

Sydney Sleeper also helps for other teammates to kill the enemy faster when shot. Fully charge Jarate bullet on a Heavy, BAM. Now your allies can clear them out quicker. You can also do the bodyshot and Bushwacka combo, but that requires A LOT of skill and is a big risk.

I love the hitman's, hell yeah the charge is a gimmick but it can kill a soldier at full health if you fire right after reloading. However, that's still situational. I think the real upside is the firing sound, it's fucking quiet. Flanking sniper for the win

“Why turbine is hated” THE WORLD IS A FUCKING SNIPER SIGHTLINE Ok seriously, usually with sniper spots there’s a flank route to reach them that doesn’t have that much danger. Even on 2fort, you can go through sewers to reach the sniper spot. But if he sits in the right door, the way to flank him is go in the left door, THROUGH THE FUCKING INTEL ROOM, and then you can flank him. Every other direction can be covered by him.

One thing with the scorch shot is that the blast radius is pretty random a flare can land right next to an enemy and not ignite

It really isn't random, its fixed and has a consistent AoE. When it hits next to an enemy and does not ignite them, that's called "missing".

I agree that in casuals/pubs that the Bazaar Bargain is the best sniper rifle. The issue in competitive play with it (for me imo) is that it's hard to live past 2 kills a lot of the time when you're already the most important class to kill outside of medic (In highlander). And if you do happen to get more than 2 kills, you now have a giant "kill me" sign on you that the enemy scout, bombing soldier, spy, sniper, and maybe even the demo (if he's a mad lad) are going to want to kill asap. Then in 6s, you just aren't using it enough/not enough targets to make the upside consistent enough. Larger games/12vs 12/pubs/casuals though? Go WILD.

Acutally pairing the fist of steel with the vacinator would make you like superman: unkillable by most things but has a devastating weakness with superman it's kyrton in Heavy's case it would be melee of any kind

Imo, if you wanna be a medic for single teammate, just use the medi gun or kritzkrieg. If you wanna keep the whole team healed then use the quick fix.

I'd argue the classic is better than you'd think. When given time to train with it that is. Also if it could fire when not on the ground I am positive that would make it high tier. And stock bonesaw is no laughing matter. That faster swing speed has saved my life on more than one occasion.
