After you use the La Mer moisturizer, you know immediately which side is which. It’s an incredible product. There’s a reason why it’s not $1. 😆

That was a great video! I think if we used an algae serum paired with Nivea, we'd get similar results as La Mer. Mixed Makeup has a great video showing that the moisturizing ingredients are identical. The thing that makes the La Mer difference is their special sauce that treats the skin. So, we could use our serums, ampoules and toners to get the actives we want and use Nivea as a moisturizer to seal it all in.

Nivea is a cult classic. I think it’s weird to compare two completely products that aren’t made to be the same.

They are the same except for the sea kelp. Get some sea kelp add it to your Nivea (German is best) and you have your La Mer dupe. Those that act like La Mer is far better need it to be better because they’re the dumb asses that spent ridiculous amounts of money foe something that could’ve paid around $30 (Nivea plus a good bio ferment sea kelp) for.

The have the same “base” ingredients. Not at all the same ingredients. La Mer skin nourishing and anti-aging ingredients that Nivea doesn’t have. I love Nivea for my body, but not my face. 😊

⁠​⁠​⁠@@Ameenah69La Mer has more ingredients than just the the fermented sea kelp. I’m not saying people should go out and buy it’s, way pricey. There are other products that do provide nice results for less money, but it all comes down to what people choose to do with their money, if they earned their money through work, paid their bills, then it’s perfectly fine to treat yourself to something a little luxurious.

Even though the price is not worth it. It’s a reason why it’s expensive because it does wonders nothing or any other cream does. Maybe it is only one ingredient but he. If it’s solves many skin problemes la Mer ain’t crazy for asking that price…. You have Coca Cola and dupe cola. Taste different right? Well it’s because of a secret that’s maybe just 1 thing that makes the difference.

I actually just went and looked up the story after your comment because I’ve never heard of the product before. I feel you on the voodoo vibes.. don’t really know everything behind it but it was said they used a medium to contact the man who first created it to see how it was made. They used sound frequencies and light patterns and astronomical measurements in order to make the product. So yeah pretty spot on, we have to be careful of the items and products we use because we never know what the person who created those products are into..

You will need to get yourself some Avene Cicalfate+ restorative protective cream , the ordinary Matrixyl 10% in HA serum plus a retinoid , all of this not only do the job better but for under $120

The difference is not that noticeable to pay that much for the La Mer. K & J beauty have amazing products that work just as good or better. I would never waste my money on these overpriced mediocre products. The same ingredients can be found in other products for way less.
