I think the dragon has gas inside it and in order to breathe fire, there’s probably a mechanism like an igniter that turns his breath into a flame thrower of sorts. When the rocket exploded, I think the gas inside the dragon got caught up in it.

Only reason why he’s a villain in dc proper is because his powers are completely shit do to it’s instability and can go wanky off of basic emotions. If he could control his powers dude would have never stopped being an actor. Also remember he is op even in proper it’s just hidden behind shit control. Dudes sandman with brains. He can become a kaiju off a wim if he wanted to. dude can level a city easy. This version has it on easy mode. Can control his powers do to magic and can control all soft sediments.
