I think this manifold works best on revup de engines along with other supporting mods like full exhaust, intake, ported intake runners, throttle body, e85 and tune

I have an 04, with JWT C8 cams, CZP 75mm TB, Mishimoto intake tube, rev up air box, plenum spacer, straight pipes to a 3" exhaust from y-pipe (Cobra sports) - waiting for PPE long tubes to arrive. It has the UP-Rev software and dyno tuned here in the UK. Rev limit raised to 7k, we won't go beyond that until the bottom end is done. My car is used for track/weekends. So it sounds like this could make some extra HP and help the cams a bit more with this in my build ?

With the mods you have on the car including cams and long tube headers, you make some significant gains with the Kinetix Manifold. The main advantage of running this intake is it will make gain in the higher rpm range like around 5,700 rpms and higher.

Just an update ! I put the Z1 'race' intake on too, dyno'd but actually lost power. I did spot several issues a week or so afterwards, so they could have contributed. I've just fitted the PPE LTH's, so back to the dyno next month, hopefully now it'll regain the power it made before, and a bit more ideally.

The issue I have, is because the rev limit is raised, are the small power gains only from the increased rev limit or a mixture of both the manifold and raised limit?

It's a combination of both. The Kinetix Manifold is primary designed to make gains in the higher rpms; but it can make gains in the mid rpm. It depends on the the rest of the exhaust and intake setup.

One way you can tell the difference between the old vs the revised version is the resived version is a tapered design on the section where the runners connect from the manifold to the lower plenum. The original design had the non tapered rectangular shape. The Revised version is designed better than the orginal version.
