If it's cooked very well and frozen, u can keep it for months. It's gravy so it doesn't go bad easily. You can keep it in the refrigerator as well without worries so far as urgent fridge is good and power supply is stable

Whats the difference between anise and star anise. I'm really new to all these spices and trying to incorporate to see the difference but end up ruining my food. I also learnt that canola oil is not good at all. Kindly read more about it and use a healthier alternative. Thanks for the recipe.

Star anise is a large see that is shaped and actually looks like a star, it also has a completely different aroma to aniseed. however aniseed are small round seeds like what she used. Google star anise, hope it helps

Yes you can use some less oil if you cook it longer or fry the tomato paste separately, but you still need a good amount of oil

Very nice! The amount of the dry unground spices that have been dry roasted in the pan seem to be 1.5 Tblsp rather than 1.5 Teasppons. Can you connfirm this?

If you want to make half that stew just use half of the ingredients that she used. It is simple, divide the ingredients that were used in her cooking.
