Hey Craig, greetings from the UK. I'd be interested and wishing to know if you would do a video on the casts favorite cars and how people such as Paul walker took to them or even cars from the films, from what you seen on the set or even what they where like with the cars such as if they actually could drive them well or knew much about them?. This maybe interesting for some and maybe something you might want to do. Hope to hear from you soon. Ton

He's done a few videos on cars from the films. Plus, the casts favourite cars he would have to contact them all. Most probably wouldn't even reply etc. Think first. It's not like he's got vin diesels phone number 😂

The Miata was not a “cool” car back in the early 2000’s. It is now, but back then people were yet to appreciate its brilliance.
@traviswalker89333 жыл бұрын
The Miata was considered a hair dresser's car in the tuner culture back in the early 2000s, people looked down upon them and had no respect for them like the Boxster. They only started to get the recognition they deserve these days.

I remember going to see 2 fast 2 furious opening night at age 15 at the mall with me and my 3 of my friends. One friend couldn't go because it was rated PG-13 and his parents wouldn't let him. Man what a time to be alive some of the best memories everyone was so excited before cell phones and really before internet got super popular. What I wouldn't give to go back.

It's so crazy that the Universal's ignorance/stupidity about tuner cars (useless body kits, over the top paint and graphics, cheap Chinese performance parts, and heavy stereo systems) ended up shaping an entire car culture that lasts to this day. Tokyo Drift was the most accurate representation of real tuner car culture that I've seen (aside from maybe Initial D.)

Craig, I was on the south leg of super street tour the year you brought the maxima out and drove it on tour. I found some old vids I recorded of riding up 95 together, and you standing in the back of a Box truck at hot wheels in jaxs telling us about the hurricane we were going to be driving through. Since Nopi nationals and the Super Street Tour existed because of the movie, you ever thought about discussing the experience of the tour and nationals on the channel?

The first F&F film got me into cars. It's a shame the script didn't take from more of your expertise, because those movies gave me some ill-advised impressions in my more impressionable years, and rewatching some of those scenes ("DANGER TO MANIFOLD") is laughable now. Still, I love the franchise and I love your channel.

Craig, I have a question that you would be perfect to ask. I have always wondered why no other movie studio has ever tried to build a franchise like the F&F? I mean competitors see the amount of dollars made, but make no attempt at car culture movies. The argument can be made for Need for Speed, but again, it never franchised. Thoughts?
