Also, I'm actually curious if/how extroverts both enjoy their meal and chat, because if I know that I can't both fully enjoy food AND actually listen and respond to another person (like mindless eating while working/watching). So if I brought a delicious meal, or am eating a rare sweet treat and someone strikes up a conversation with me, I literally think "Dang, I should have just brought a bland, super healthy meal because I am not going appreciate this food". I know this because after finishing something while chatting I look down and realize that I didn't pay attention to the flavor, texture, etc. I understand making food for others is bonding but at at work I think "can't you come back in 10 minutes after I eat??" Especially if I'm intermittent fasting and know that that time is when I can enjoy my well prepared meal and that person could tell me that thing literally any other time in the day... OK but I wonder, am I just food obsessed (probably haha) or can extroverts multitask better or they just don't care about missing being present for a tasty meal??

I cannot express in words how happy I am seeing you again! Being stuck at the house for so many months and always stumbling in workload is so excruciating! I have been using five-minute journal app for 5 years and I am so happy using them. I made my own Productivity planner following yours and work is so much easy now. But still, I was missing that urge to be in my toes and get everything done. Your video motivated me a lot! Thanks Mimi being such an inspiration

Great points to touch on! They can be applied even if you don’t work from home. Simply getting tasks done around the house need planning. Yard work takes up quite a bit of time and it great to divide the task into time slots.

Thank you so much for this great video. Just like you I get distracted by music with lyrics and in this video (especially at tip #7) sometimes it was hard to listen to you, the music was too loud and also because of the sound/phone problem you had (were you recording with the iphone ?)...so maybe just one tip for next videos pls don't had music with lyrics behind your voice and behind a poor sound quality it's very painful to watch especially with headphones. I've been working from home for 7 years now and what you say is absolutely true...but as an introvert I am oh so so so happy to not have any more chit chat conversations with colleagues that's the best part of working from home... have a great day !

Hi Mimi x Thank you for sharing the tips. I would like to add a few as I have been working from home and office for approx 2 years now. I do exactly what you said in your video. I never worked in my pajamas and always set a time as I would go to the office and finish on set time too. Always get ready, put make up on , everyone laughs at me but who cares ! The following tips I would like to share: 1- You mentioned to make weekly agenda for about 4 weeks or so but it doesn’t seem to be practical in my way of working or in real life as I have discussed this with other colleagues to get their opinions, it also doesn’t work for them. if it works for you then great 👍 Productivity journal (not used) or other same type journals I have tried but it always doesn’t fit as I love writing and there’s always limited space. I set a daily agenda as soon as I start my day and tick off by the end of the day, if anything is outstanding I would set a reminder on my phone, the reason I said phone because it’s easier for me (I use windows laptop and apple phone) , setting a reminder on a phone makes it so much easier for me. In the past I have used reminders on laptop but they keep in the pending list for such a long time. 2- get a foot rest - this would help in posture 3- Date on each page of any notebook you use or make notes ( do not use single papers, you’ll regret when they are lost lol ) 4- keep a water jug on your desk so you don’t forget drinking water 5- drinking tea in breaks is great but avoid sugar or sugary items. 6- keep a backup of everything , most important! (The reason I said this because if you are working from home and office and it’s not the same computer then you’ll be lost ) I have alot more to add but I’ll finish off here Loads of love and respect for your family Please keep up with your motivational videos I am desperately waiting for those. Best Wishes Rabz ( please follow me on insta rab1aa)

I love the video. Great tips! Unfortunately I have 2 children and no coparent, so there is no splitting time taking care of the kids. If anyone else is in that situation, my recommendation is to get your employer to do flex time. I work early in the morning and late at night, as well as weekends to get the work done and take some time with them during the day. It isn't ideal, and it is a bit draining, but really scheduling and planning are imperative. I let them know what time I will be spending with them, like, "Mom has to work until lunch time but then after lunch, we are going to the park for a while." That gives them something to look forward to. I also take off every other Monday and take them on "field trips" to the zoo or something fun but educational. I then make up my work in the evening after they have settled or on the weekend in the morning when the house is calm. 💜

I love the idea of using a productivity planner but I don't think I would be able to make it work for me. As a lawyer my days and weeks depend on official deadlines and what clients throw at me. I might start the day with task A being most critical, but by lunch time task B and C is all of the sudden more important and I have to reshuffle everything, which drives me nuts. Ahhhh!

Hi Mimi, thank you for this video. This is going to help me in many ways. I have been working from home for the last 1.5 years. I am following a few rules which you have mentioned here like, created a dedicated space, set some rules to interact with family members and following a strict deadline.
