Abbey Motorsport seems to be a great company, they really did a great job on all of the mods that they installed. The front suspension lift and the additional map settings on the tune were pretty unique compared to what I've seen. I love your car. And...the pops and bangs!

Thanks for watching! Yeah, the lift is a life saver! But, it's not cheap. That's the only thing. It is compatible with setups other than KW. Abbey Motorsport can advise.

Great video....i love your car!....i have a question about the suspension.....i bought KW coilovers for my 06 350Z but I also had to buy longer A-arms to keep my wheel camber close to stock settings. ...Did you have to purchase any other parts besides the coilovers?

Do you get a CEL with the cats? In Finland where I live you have to pass an actual emissions test. So no CELs allowed, ECU must be in ”emission ready” state and you must pass an exhaust gas measurement test. I am considering sport cats but hate the hassle with the annual inspection.

Thanks for watching!! You may get a CEL but mine was tuned straight after and certain thresholds may have been disabled. I can't say what the emissions will be like... Mine isn't due for inspection until the car is 3 years old.

I reckon emissions will be fine. I had a 350Z with sport cats and it would eventually always pass the test (you had to heat the cats like crazy).

That extra feature has been added to map 3. Map switching is done by holding the cruise/speed-limiter cancel button then using the right toggle switch.

Honestly, the maximum custom TC is so much better than stock. It lets you have enough slip to maintain momentum and give you enough trust to get on with driving.

i'm looking at exhausts for my 2014 370z gt currently and i was under the impression pop and bang maps ruin your cats, or is this not the case with hfc's?

Well, it does ruin the cats, but affects HFCs less because they less restrictive. You'll have to replace them more often.

Hi brotha! Because of this video and your positive reviews I got the tarmac short tail exhaust from UK. I am based in Dubai and it was very difficult for me to get it here, somehow I managed and installed on my nismo. Now I am facing one big issue! I am facing bad rattling inside the cabin and it’s coming from the trunk, Can you please help me to solve that?

Yeah, I noticed that after a while too. I later had foam added to the various cable contact points in the boot/trunk to minimise cable rattle, and some sound deadening. See if that helps. 👍

@@farhangilani5323 I can't at the moment. The car isn't with me at present. And it's likely to be a bit different for every car. The cables aren't likely to have movement in exactly the same places. The company that added the sound deadening aren't available anymore. I'm sure there will be a company near you that could help though.

There's a few pads in specific spots where the metal resonated most. I honestly don't remember exactly where and taking my trunk apart isn't an option right now, since the car isn't with me. Perfected Auto has lots of videos on this topic. It's a well known issue generally. This is one of his videos, but he's made a whole series... Most people remove them with a wiper delete kit. I've just not done that yet as I want to do it properly, filling the hole smoothing it and painting it in. However, there may be markets where they're not sold with the rear wiper.

They really bungled the v2 nismo spoiler, so underwhelming the v1 spoiler was so much better yet you can't retrofit it because v2 lip has 17 holes in the body it attaches to, 17 drilled holes!! It didn't have to be Singer level ducktail but just slightly more at least (Singer: hips.hearstapps.com/hmg-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/images/singer-vehicle-design-dls-1558630408.jpg ). Then they released OEM NISMO "gurney flap" which is 1cm rectangular extension, so crazy expensive 1200EUR yet so underwhelming again. I can't believe only this one obscure Taiwanese company makes a well designed extension/gurney-flap. By the time I can get a 370z the car will be obsolete and who knows if such better gurney flaps will be available.

Thanks for watching. I agree, I did feel let down by it and indeed, it's a shame that the Nismo carbon gurney flap was similarly underwhelming and overpriced. However, I wasn't a fan of the v1 spoiler and suspect the change was made to reduce drag... But a little more flare would have been nice.

What makes you think KW, Abbey Motorsport or even us are beginners? The set up on the suspension now is much better than the stock Nismo setup. But your right, beginners would probably make it worse. Good thing none of us are 😉

Thanks. Keep in mind that NISMO will need to tune the suspension to what it thinks the typical buyer will like. Yes, our initial setup wasn't ideal, but after some more testing, I found the KW setup that gave me the driving experience I wanted, rather than the Nismo options. I'm happy to give up some comfort for sharper handling, but most people wouldn't want to ride the highway with my setup as-is. And Nismo would have tuned it for 'most people', not me specifically. I have driven many different cars and mine feels like a Nismo Z but with sharper handling similar to a Porsche GT3. Thanks for watching, and the conversation.
