I’m a little late but here’s how I got into NASCAR: My dad loved NASCAR and Jeff Gordon, and so in 2018 We went to the Championship race. He would occasionally put on the races, but I didn't truly get into NASCAR until this season. I half-heartedly rooted for Larson, but after his incident, I sent out to find a real favorite driver. On the first race back, I watched the roster and I found Bell. I didn’t know much about his career, just that he was a rookie, and he became my favorite. Christopher Bell really got me into NASCAR, and I can’t wait for his next season! I was so amazed when I found about Bell’s record for his rookie season in Xfinity...

2 things: What got me into nascar? Ever since I can remember, I had this Jeff Gordon wooden toy box and I had several tiny nascar diecasts. Went to my first race at Dega in 2005 and that did it for me. I've been hooked ever since. Btw I was only like 9 when I went to Dega. I kinda wish that Nascar would codify the "silver = final race/retiring" idea. It's such a rarely used colour so we wouldn't be taking much from other schemes, and it would be an awesome final rite of passage for drivers. Or at least have the teams come together to make it a thin.

I was born the same year as Cars, so I grew up with that movie. That was enough for 3 year old me to fall in love with the sport!

When I started on iRacing realized I was horrible at road racing gave oval a try and loved it so I started watching. First race was the 2018 championship race at homestead and I saw Larson run the high line and I was hooked.

I got into nascar in a very unconventional way, my dad was a huge Matt Kenseth fan so because I was little I was too he took me to the Daytona 500 and I was terrified of all the noises. So I hated nascar until around 6 years ago when my dad took me to Talledega, and I loved it and that’s why I like nascar and nice to see another big Kenseth fan.

Well as a Hamlin fan I’m happy to report that at least he won in a car not with the primary scheme! That darlington throwback is criminally underrated!

I am active military....USMC stationed in Washington DC. The fall of 2008 (The Chase). My son was interested in NASCAR at the time, but I’d never given it much attention before. Then an announcement at work....the USO had a block of tickets to Dover for free. So I thought my boys would enjoy the race. The seats were good too!! End zone and about 22 rows up...not too close, not too far....we could easily see the entire track. Well, I was hooked. Started following it week to week after that. Then came 2009 and Mark Martin’s resurgence with Rick Hendricks and ending in JJ’s 4th in a row. Still hooked despite the stupid playoff format. Really wishing NASCAR would back off and let ‘em race. And I’m a relative newcomer to the sport. I can’t imagine what older, more traditional fans would say.

My friend and I were typing random numbers into the TV remote and we landed on the spring Richmond race in 2016 when Edwards dumped KB on the final corner. I’ve watched every single race since

My ranking of these 1. Erik Jones Dewalt - Put this at the top by default from the start, and man I haven't found anything I like better. It's the perfect combination IMO, and if not the best definitely the best that was run more than a few times. Of all his schemes this year there isn't one I wouldn't put up high in this list. 2. Chris Buescher Sunny D - Still pops, still looks great, still has great theming. It's the SunnyD car. 3. Chase Elliott Hooters (Dark) - I agree that when first shown I didn't like it at all, but that matte black with the dayglo orange is one of the best combinations on a racecar. 4. Alex Bowman Planters - Simple but great looking. Sorta reminds me of a well-done throwback car. 5. Austin Dillon Bass Pro Shops - Pretty good, no real complaints but just other things that I like better. 6. Jimmie Johnson Ally (Silver/Final Ride) - Pretty good, but I feel like the contrast between the silver and purple/black just wasn't there, it didn't pop enough. I don't really know why, I just don't love it. 7. Kevin Harvick Busch (4th Of July) - Again pretty good, I feel like it has a bit too much going on and I also don't love the eagle. It is the most American thing you'll ever see though. 8. Matt Kenseth McDonalds (All-Star) - Way too much white, and I still don't love the arches going off the car. It's fine on some schemes but looks pretty bad on this. I do like the way they incorporated the set-back number though. 9. Kyle Busch Interstate Batteries - Looks cheesy, the smaller sponsor logos in solid colors on it (like M&Ms) are really annoying, why are there two Interstate logos on the hood. 10. Brad Keselowski Discount Tire - It'd be... fine... But the grey fading above the red line irrationally drives me nuts for endless reasons. Get rid of that and it might be like a 8 but with that it's a definite no.
