can't say I have watched your content, so I don't know what you have played, but this is a pretty solid list. some I have played, some I haven't. definitely gave each entry a good argument for why you enjoyed them. well done. :) would be curious to know if you have played Titanfall 2, because I think it deserves a spot on the list of all-time great FPS games.

@Fortefyre I see. Normally I would say that's the way to go. But I must admit that Titanfall 1 has no singleplayer and you might be pretty hard pressed to get into a multiplayer match, much less a campaign match. While it's a fun game, it's. A bit of a rough experience due to low player count. The second game on the other hand has one of the best singleplayer FPS campaigns this century, and the MP is nothing short of superb, and still has a good player count. Either way I hope you enjoy them both when you do get to them. 😁

For what would've been considered just an expansion pack if released on PC a few years earlier, Halo 3: ODST was a quality Halo game with a very enjoyable story...one of my favorites in the series.

The first fps I ever played was a game called Quarantine where you drove a armed cab around a “ Escape to New York “ style city You forgot Dark Forces . To me , Doom is my favorite but I rarely play the base game . I end up playing a number of doom mods each year and have a blast with them . I played mods for Half Life and HL2 but I still replay the originals every few years .

So it was around May 2020. I had obtained a Xbox with a couple of games for the very first time and Halo was one of the games I obtained. During that time, my girlfriend was pregnant with our daughter and my son noticed that I owned Halo and was excited about it and pushed me to play it. Now, I knew about the game, but was never a fan of it in the past and never cared for it. I finally gave in and played it and was blown away by it and it became one of the most memorable games that brings me back to that time my daughter was about to be born. Love Halo!

Did not know the plot to Doom that was cool. All i knew was those were demons from Hell & it was just a bad ass game! Made me move from SNES to Computer Base games for awhile in the 90s! Creating Local Area Networks to play with a group of friends probably on a 56K Modem...that was great times! Got DOOM on my 3DS so i can play on the go & in 3D without glasses!

I am always an advocate for Star Wars Republic Commando. I'm a big Star Wars fan, and it was nice to see a FPS comparable to Halo with the brand. I loved the squad control system that lent itself well to great storytelling, which eventually made it into the Halo series too. On top of that it stood toe to toe with other SW games from around that era like KOTOR, Lego Star Wars, and Battlefront and still stood out. I think its criminal that we never got a sequel. Led to some great books though.

I cherish the summer spent beating every level of Doom and Doom 2 on Ultra Violence, from a Pistol Start. (PS3. BFG edition) Doom 3 on XBox. Unbelievably good port. Best part was I connected to a second XBox, and played the game through _with_ my gf, together, in the same room.

I have really never heard anything bad about James Bond Agent under Fire. It's either Agent under Fire or Nightfire are people's favorite Bond games on PS2

Ahhh doom such great memories. Back in my freshman year of highschool, in one of my computer classes if we finish early are teacher would let us play doom. The thing is he wouldn't tell us how to log into it. Now this was on DOS and we had to log in teacher, then had to log in as a student then had to log into doom the game and then the death battles would begin. 😂 29 years later i still remember how. Great list bro. It you get around to it maybe do s stream of doom or duke nukem. Both are my favorite FPS. Ttyl peace!

@ I think it was a PS2 title. I could be wrong. But it was awesome to play back then. Literally mowing down walls with a shotgun was so much fun. The insane asylum chapter was the best!

You really gotta play more FPS's" I did however love seeing Doom at the top of the list, it's one my fave story-lite action games, and I especially appreciate you telling me the backstory, I didn't know all of that, thanks for telling me about it. I get that, Halo unfortunately is one of those franchises where telling the story directly reveals the ending of the previous games, so it's tough to talk about.

Let's not forget areas you THINK you are supposed to go to, and because there isn't an inherent boundary you go out of your way to get somewhere, then get softlocked because you weren't supposed to be there haha.

I've put the most hours into Perfect Dark and Payday 2. Perfect Dark was kinda funny cause I never had the expansion pack. But I could still play the MP instances with bots. I never played the campaign until over a decade later when I got the x360 arcade release.

The intro when you say youve played a tons of games doesnt fit when you put in a bunch of console games. Its probably more than me or the wider population played, but it seems like you actually havent played a ton of shooters when you put in a bunch of old console shooters and not include any modern multiplayer pc games. The intro is kind of nondescriptive in this case. Its also probably not the best thing to say to begin every video in general.

I mean, it's a hook that I've used to create multiple videos with over 50K views, it's just something I say. Also, I don't like modern multiplayer PC games, just really not my jam. I've dabbled in Warzone and Fortnite, but they aren't very fulfilling to me.
