My Dress-up Darling anime is so good, best of the season for sure, def going to pick up the manga as well. My all time favourite romance series is Honey and Clover, I'm always inbetween tearing up and having a good laugh. Sad that more volumes ar oop now and super hard to get. Also, Happy Galentines day!💛💁‍♀️

Kimi Ni Todoke, Love Com, Highschool Debut, Blue Flag and My love mix-up, could the list get any better??? Love Com is always gonna steal top spot for me lol, it was the first romance anime that made me stop having the 'all romance/shojo anime is bad' mentality. I would only ever watch shonen back then T-T

we have similar tastes i see haha but yes love com was the ONE shojo anime/manga that i loved until the my love story anime came out then those 2 were my only ones but this past year ... the character development of my manga tastes in quarantine... whew

I just read 4 volumes of Blue Flag today, it’s so good and it really get me with the cliff hangers!! Also, Love Com is so nostalgic especially when I hear any of the openings or endings from the the anime

yes omg especially in the beginning of blue flag there were so many cliffhangers it really kept me hooked! and same love com overall is just so nostalgic and iconic, i rewatched some of the anime yesterday as my valentine’s day celebration lol

I love Blue Flag and Wotakoi so much, they are both such great series. I found both Wotakoi and My Dress Up Darling with the anime and they made me want to collect the manga too. I've been looking at Bloom Into You for a while with another series called If I Could Reach You. I've been loving romance and romcom books lately, so this is such a great video for me to try some new ones out! You have some great taste, amazing video!!!

romance as a genre has grown on me a lot this past year. I used to hardly if ever read it, and to be completely honest, it's because you recommended the kase san and yamada series. it does gl so well, and as you said, wholesome, fluffy as well as positively portraying queer female relationships. it helped to heal my relationship with queer romance manga in general. but my main take away from this vid is that it's about time I read my dress up darling sorry for the essay! great vid as always! 😁

Genuinely curious have you ever read a manga series called Hatsukoi Limited? It's by the same author as Strawberry 100% and to my knowledge never got an official US release but it to this day is my personal favorite romance manga. I feel like maybe it is a bit lost to the wheels of time at this point and honestly may not hit the same as an adult as it did for me when I read it in high school but I still get a wave of nostalgia when I think about the series!!! happy valentines day Tsukki!! - Jerry

@@tsukkinotes i think a spin off would be nice, wotakoi is a series that can keep going and going through the years of the character’s lives. since it’s a series that has episodic type chapters it could def continue passed volume 6 (or 11 japanese version).

Surprised to not see classmates here :0 i just started kimi ni todoke and as someone who dislikes romance anime.... it’s such a feel good series, I love all the characters and kazehaya ain’t that “I’m not like the other guys, I hate women expect you” type of guy. We love to see it

i think i’ve mentioned it before but i have mixed emotions about sharing my love for classmates, it’s my favorite bl but it’s also very special to me on a personal level so i don’t really like opening it up to potential criticism even though i know it has some problematic elements if that makes any sense?! i’m not trying to gatekeep it or anything but it’s more to protect my fragile mental state LOL but i’m glad you’re liking kimi ni todoke!! like i said it’s a very simple story but very nice and affective

Hello there! i highly recommend ' Kimagure Orange Road', 'Maison Ikkoku' these two are highly popular classic gems in romance genre and my favorites also 'Love and Lies' if anyone out there looking for Romance and a strong plot!!

please help!, i don't remember the name of this manga, it was about a teenager with kind of a rude style of hair, white ( blond), who falls for an older woman with long black hair who likes to smoke and works in a cafe i think, i don't remember well, and also there's a female teen who works there too and is very protective of the older woman, this guy tries very hard to make her fall for him too, but there's the ex of the older woman like bothering. Does anybody know this manga??
