I also bought 3 spf's on Yesstyle recently. 2 by Missha and 1 from Hado Labo. I'm now using one of the Missha SPF's (the aqua gel one (white box with blue accents)) and I got at least 3 consecutive days with this one without a break out or a fungal acne break out. I specifically searched for SPF's that are safe for fungal acne because next to normal acne I also have the joys of fungal acne and very sensitive reactive skin for SPF. I've used regular European brand SPF's in the past and they all made me break out very quickly even LRP, Avene and the ones with physical filters. I would love it if Nadine could make a video about fungal acne and which products are safe to use from skincare to bodycare to treatments to make up. Luckily I found a lot of information on simpleskincarescience.com and I use folliculisscout.com to scan ingredients lists of products I might consider buying. There's also an active reddit thread for fungal acne IIRC. I also don't like the fact that a lot of companies use nano ingredients in their products. We don't even know what kind of damage these particles can do to our bodies and our health. Maybe a nice vid idea?

Missha Aqua Gel with spf 50 is a great lotiony-gel spf. It's a chemical sunscreen, it doesn't sting even after a chemical peel, doesn't sting my eyes and it's great for combination/oily skin. It has a matte finish and for less than 10 dolars it's quite a bargain. Garnier spf 50 spray is quite idiot proof for reapplying, especially over makeup. Love your recommandations, definitely will give them a try!

I love the Paula’s Choice Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 50. It is a similar consistency to the Skinceuticals, very runny and light weight. Purito makes my fave sunscreens (a Korean brand) for my hypersensitive rosacea/eczema prone skin. Normally I can only use a mineral spf like the comfy water mineral spf50 pa++++ from Purito, but their unscented centella spf50 pa++++ uses all the new next gen filters and DOSEN'T STING my skin or eyes - yippee. Mineral sunscreens are often very drying and play havoc with my eczema so being able to use a chemical screen without the stinging/burning is so good. I love it and highly recommend it. I do like the comfy water mineral screen, but it is a little more tricky as you have to be careful which moisturiser you use underneath re pilling/balling up. The unscented centella chemical screen has never pilled and I can use it around my eyes without issue. I used to use ultrasun and still love that on my body, but the recent advent of rosacea (type one and mild) has meant anything really alcohol heavy stings very badly and I can no longer use it on my face/neck/chest. The Korean sunscreens are also more affordable which is a bonus. Best wishes.

Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence is a phenomenal physical sunscreen. It's SPF50, has a light gel-like texture, doesn't leave a white cast, and contains skin beneficial ingredients, including niacinamide. It's about $20-25 US and I buy it online (have never seen it in a store). I have normal skin and use it for both SPF and moisturizer. I apply it right up to my eyeballs and have never had any sensitivity (and I have sensitive light blue eyes). Plays nicely under makeup too. It's the only sunscreen I have ever applied faithfully every day because it's a pleasure to use.

Hello Nadine from the States, really enjoy your videos and find them very helpful. Have you ever heard of zinc oxide being very astringent and drying? At 66 I feel like I've tried every spf on the market for my sensitive skin, and recently went with Elta MD pure physical zinc - very highly rated and loved. By 4:00 in the afternoon my skin was dry, tight and uncomfortable, after 3 days I looked like I'd had a procedure! Went on line and read the above- zinc oxide is very astringent, drying, and best for younger skins. Any thoughts? Thanks again for you always wonderful content!

Purito, all versions, make: prem, and dear, Klairs are moisturizing lotions that are just lovely. The klairs (White bottle, haven’t tried the new blue bottle mineral one) one is my fave in the winter. For a gel, CosRx aloe is so good for a lightweight summer SPF in the super hot and humid south Texas summer. Those are my fave Korean ones. For Japanese, most Shisedo ones are great. Specifically the Anessa range. I believe you can get all of these on YesStyle and they do free shipping. I think they offer free “expedited” at over £100. As someone who suffers from sun rash every summer, especially when abroad in warmer climates, the only sun protection that actually worked for me is Institute Estederms Sun intolerance body spray. It's a mineral lotion that feels nothing like an spf but more lika a lovely body lotion.I use only where I usually get the itching blisters; chest, neck, arms and its been fool proof every time. It is expensive, but last a long time if you use i wisely. Over the rest of my body I usually use LRP or vichy, preferably the mists or sprays. Hate sticky spf's, I hate having to rubb things in.

Thank you for this. I have yet to find a sunscreen that doesn't burn my eyes. Physical or Chemical.

Could you also do a video on foundations that wear well in hot, sweaty weather. I don't know what to use in this heatwave we're having. The moment I'm out of the shower and dried off, I start sweating like a pig and it's really messing with my makeup.

Favourite Japanese sunscreen is ANESSA whitening UV sunscreen gel SPF 50+ PA++++. l like wearing this because its lightweight and it absorbs easily into my skin. It works well under makeup and it doesn’t upset my sensitive skin.

i love the australian gold tinted mineral spf 50---- they now have 3 shades (haven't tried those, yet.) their old one, the original, was the perfect shade for me--- bluring, perfecting, efficient AND great under makeup...... as all physical, can be a bit drying (more a feeling than the actual condition of the skin, however) so hydrating underneath is important. At the moment I'm using CeraVe tinted mineral spf 30-- a bit dark for me, great on its own (no need for moisturizer) howver less great under makeup. :-)

Missha and Iope are 2 Korean brands I've used which are brilliant. Broad spectrum and light in application.

Purito: Centella Green Level Unscented Sun SPF50+ PA ++++ more of a chemical like formulation, water-based, good for dry skin. Purito: Comfy Water Sun Block SPF50+ PA++++ a physical type formulation, also water-based, good for oily skin. Both can be purchased here in the UK from pureseoul.co.uk or yesstyle but delivery is a bit poop on yesstyle at the moment so I try to use pureseoul for convenience lol

The Skinceuticals Physical Fusion (what happened to it's UK version?!) is the one I turn back to time and again for flattering, reliable, mineral sunscreen. I loved the Murad City Skin SPF 50 but it's double the price ($88) and so hard to get ahold of because it's always sold out at Sephora.

I like EltaMD. It provides slight coverage and evens out your skin.
