I don't make many of these videos and could use all the help me and my family can get atm so any donations to my PayPal is much appreciated :) www.paypal.me/GodOfMischief987 PLEASE DONATE/ SHARE IF POSSIBLE - www.gofundme.com/f/raising-money-to-help-my-dad-get-to-his-stem-cell-operation Connections: Azula VS Tai Lung: • Fallen prodigies who are major antagonists of their respective iconic, animated franchises inspired by Asian culture and mythology. • Both went under heavy training while under the parental care of powerful figures of their respective societies (Fire Lord Ozai and Ursa/Master Shifu), eventually sharing high proficiency and a cunning prowess with the world’s respective martial art based power systems (Firebending/Kung Fu). • Their unparalleled skill meant they were bound to achieve an honourable title of great power eventually (Fire Lord/Dragon Warrior), albeit these would be revealed to both combatants in contrasting points in time (Azula being revealed to be the heir to the Fire Nation at the final act of the series/Tai Lung being built to supposedly become the Dragon Warrior since day one). • However, due to their ambitious, power hungry and aggressive nature, both would be rejected to have this title in some way, which led both to believe that they were betrayed by the aforementioned parental figures, thus going down the psychological state of resentment, paranoia and mentally instability. • Despite this, both are still heavily driven with a deep desire to gain approval to their parental figures, even when it comes to hunting down the goofy, spiritually attuned chosen one of their worlds to prove themselves worthy (Aang, albeit Azula did kill Aang before he got resurrected/Po). • Before seemingly getting the role they desired, one of their most important scenes involves their parents telling them that they always loved them and feel remorse for how they've fallen, yet they still lashed out despite this. • They would be narratively built as a dark reflection to one of the main protagonists (Zuko/Po again), serving as their antithesis due to how they parallel in their relationships with their caretakers and how both would be seen in terms of their combat prowess. • Both would then be defeated by these protagonists (Albeit Katara finished Azula off but Zuko played a big part), who would end up being the true heir to take the powerful role both combatants sought. • However, they would later return along with a new legion of villains (The Fire Warriors and New Ozai Society/The Chameleon’s Army), only to make amends with the main characters by accepting how they are deemed worthy of their positions as both combatants would continue to make reconcile for their actions. • Additionally, both reflect one of the many similar themes of their series, being how sheer pride and arrogance can corrupt one’s ego to a darker path, though their wiser familial figures would reflect as to how humility is the better way of overcoming your past (Iroh/Shifu). • If you wanna use the “The Colour Theory” of Kung Fu Panda, both are associated with blue fire which serve as a symbolic representation of their corruption from hatred and negativity. • They do be having golden eyes. Finn and Jake VS Mordecai and Rigby: -Early Cartoon network duos. Both have a taller guy who wants to have relationships and do something with his life and a shorter sidekick who is a bit of a slob and a bit of a dick at first becuse they are scared of not having their friend with them. They sit around in this first parts of their shows but stuff picks up quickly when they are forced to face monsters and other evils. Both are regarded as many to have the best cartoons on cartoon network and both had endings that made grown men cry. Kyogre VS Chaos: -Ancient, godlike water monsters spoken of in legends. -Both have the power of hydrokinesis. -In the past, after being angered, they caused a massive cataclysm, but went into a deep slumber afterwards. -In the story's present, the respective main villains awaken them in an attempt to rule the world. They go berserk instead, flooding everything in their paths once again. -They can use gemstones to transform and become much more powerful. -In the past, they were usually calm and helpful to others (Chaos protected the Chao and Master Emerald, Kyogre would save people from droughts), but very easy to anger. -Similar appearances. Both are blue, transluscent leviathans in their most powerful forms. Cole VS Erron: -The primary connection is two video game cowboys with a morally grey history, and were mercenaries before being ‘redeemed’ by 2 other morally grey characters (Reaper and Kotal). Dormammu VS Giratina: -Powerful Deities who were sealed away into their own dimensions (Dark Dimension And Distortion World). -They then became the ruler of those dimensions, with an iron fist. -Said dimensions are iconic for their trippy visuals. -If they were to break free they would destroy the entire universe or probably even the multiverse. - They have many nicknames and titles that they go by that indicates how utterly dreadful and terrible they are. -Sadistic, cruel, fearsome, dangerous, scheming, and chaotic mystical beings reviled by many and worshipped by few, they would not stop at nothing until all those who oppose them are vanquished and that everything in the multiverse is dominated and falls under their tyrannical heels. -Contrast being that Giratina can be tamed by a trainer. Oogway VS Iroh: • Both are old, beloved martial artists who serve as major supporting characters in influential, long running, western made animated series that are heavily influenced by asian culture where their main themes revolve around responsibility and destiny or straying from that path, spiritualism, acceptance from moving on from your past to focus on who you are now and the course of growth and change (Avatar/Kung Fu Panda). • Both usually act rather goofy and even somewhat idiotic on occasion, much to the chagrin of their much more serious apprentice (Zuko/Shifu) but when they get serious, however, they prove the be some of the most formidable fighters of their respective series. • Both once led darker paths as powerful military leaders/generals (Iroh being a general in the Fire Nation military/Oogway leading an army alongside Kai) until they abandoned this wretched life due to a tragic event involving their close ones (Iroh’s son Lu Ten dying in battle/Kai's ambition leading Oogway to fight him, ending with him banishing him to the Spirit Realm). • Both would additionally encounter a secret tribe of people (Sun Warriors/Pandas) who would teach them their secret mystical art that would help them become the wise sage they are now (Iroh learning the true potential of Firebending/Oogway learning how to use Chi). • Both would eventually “die” by leaving the mortal realm in order to ascend within the Spirit Realm, where even then they would continue to guide any visitor, including the chosen one (Korra/Po). • Both are synonymous with trees (Lu Ten’s Birthday Tree/ The Peach Tree). Bowser VS Eggman: -Iconic villains from platformer video games. -Both have a doppelganger of the hero (Shadow Mario and Metal Sonic) . -Both created robot replicas of themselves. -They've attempted to use powerful gems to achieve their goals. -They have teamed up with their nemesis to defeat a greater evil (Dark Star and Solaris) . -They use similar vehicles (Koopa Clown Car and Egg Mobile). -Both play various sports with their arch rivals, such as racing. -Both have traveled back in time, and even met their past self, to try and erase their mistakes from history. -Both have kidnapped a princess multiple times (Peach and Elise). -Rivalry/legacy matchup. Death VS Kai: • Both are blade-wielding martial arts anthropomorphic animated movie antagonists from Dreamworks sequels of one of their most respected franchises. • Both eventually gained respect for the main protagonist. • Also there’s the contrast of the legendary warrior who cheated Death and tries to hunt down a warrior with a mystic power that would save himself versus Death itself cheating the system to hunt down a legendary warrior who is trying to gain a mystic power to save himself. Asura VS Atrocitus: -Two rage-filled behemoths who are known for starting their vendetta because of something that happened to their families (The Seven Deities killing Asura's wife and then having his daughter as hostage, while the rogue Manhunters had killed Atrocitus' family, along with pretty much the rest of his sector). Their main enemies come in the form of emotion themed gods, (The aformentioned Seven Deities for Asura, and the gods of the Emotional Electromagnetic Spectrum for Atrocitus), both of whom they've been affiliated with in the past. They can use their rage to make them stronger in battle, which also gives them a chance to "evolve" their powers in a way.

Let's go, I am so curious to see your most wanted. I'm a day late because I got zero sleep when this was posted and didn't want that to effect my comments. Azula vs Tai Lung: Best for both and one of my most wanted. Such a great choice. Finn and Jake vs Mordecai and Rigby: I have not seen either show but this is a very good mu that I would like to see. Kyogre vs Chaos: Another very good mu, it vibes super hard and the music potential is really good. Cole Cassidy/McCree vs Erron Black: This is actually my friend's most wanted mu, I like it a decent amount myself. I don't see how this wouldn't be good. Dormammu vs Giratina: I'm not into this one. I have the opposite views from you on this one lol. I grew up with gen 4 and Giratina is one of my favourite legendaries, I don't want it fed to a Marvel herald. I just do not care much for a lot of the Marvel universe. :/ I haven't found a mu for Giratina I've vibed with until today, I'm not completely sold on it but Giratina vs Wobblewok (Yo-kai Watch) kind of vibes. Oogway vs Iroh: Fantastic mu, best for both. The only reason I'm not clamouring for it is because I don't want to see these two fight to the death. Bowser vs Eggman: It's a classic mu that is good, it needs to be an army battle. I do like it but one thing that holds it back for me personally is that I don't really like Bowser much and it's not very interesting that Eggman gets stomped. I still like it however. Death vs Kai: It's alright, I don't have a strong opinion on it. I don't care much for Kai but that's only a small reason why I'm not completely sold on this mu. The main reason that holds me back from really liking this one is that Death and Kai don't have much media to get feats from. Asura vs Atrocitus: I don't vibe with this one, it's solid enough connection wise but I just prefer the alt mus for these two more. Lots of good mus here. A solid top 10 minus one. I think I'll post my top 10 mus for you to judge (so i can take some heat from you so it's fair lol) because I need to finish writing the connections and themes for one or a few of them yet.

I get that the fight is cowboys but when it comes to a Erron Black fight on Death Battle his opponent for me is always going to be deadshot from DC two of the greatest marksmen in fiction And it's my most wanted of all time

First time I’ve heard Tai Lung as an opponent for Azula, it’s more interesting than a lot of her other matchups. Still, my favorite for Azula would be Juri Han. Thoughts on that one?

I really don’t find Juri vs. Mileena all that interesting as a matchup. Azula and Juri may not have the most connections, but the ones that they do have are very strong in a broad thematic sense. The way they compare and contrast would give very believable reasons for them to wanna kill each other whilst also having high potential for superb interactions. They’re both prodigies of highly agile and deadly fighting styles who are mentally unstable and have a major sadistic streak. You just know that this won’t only be a fight to the death, but a struggle for dominance where they take turns being hunter and hunted. They’ll also be playing mind games with each other the entire fight for sure.

Wanted to quickly defend death vs rattlesnake Jake as there really isn’t much holding it back aside from the a potential setup and the size issue and as someone who has that matchup somewhere In my top 50 most wanted I think there are ways around them as with the setup death could easily go after Jake since there were 2 moments at the end of the film where Jake was basically on deaths door and since he’s gone after one legend who escaped death through unexpected ways why not go after another and regarding the size issue yes Jake is an average sized snake while death is the size of an above average human so the size difference is an issue until you remember SpongeBob vs aquaman had them at equal size and there is no way you can have squidward vs benson on your list despite that also having a glaring size issue while bringing up the size issue here and if you go with how Jake was portrayed in the film he’s about twice deaths size so while death absorption wins you could have a cool fight dynamic with death being half the size of Jake not trying to sound rude with this comment just wanted to defend a matchup that I love

@@thedrunkgiraffe8312 understandable I can see why you like it as much as you do and I quite enjoy kai vs death it’s the best alt for both in my opinion I just like Jake better as a general character and Kai has other matchups that I either find just as or more interesting like ermac from mortal kombat or Moro from ninjago death vs Kai is still a very good matchup tho and I respect your opinion on it
