I like it, they are a little big for me. But different approaches is what makes a market. When I look at growth stocks I personally want - A reasonable market cap (below 30 billion usd) simply because of the law of large numbers. The likelyhood of a trillion dollar company 10 bagging in 10 years is relatively small imho. - Aligned leadership (preferably founder lead or high ownership +5%) - high revenue growth (35%+) - cutting edge industry (no stagnant or dying industries) - a company I understand - great net margins (differs from industry) Everything else is a bonus to me. After reading 100 baggers from Chris Mayers I realized that’s not as implausible as it sounds, if you just look for the right things. Some of my picks are going to be duds I’m ready for them to be, but just one winner is more than enough.

Growth on debt is no growth. ... Netflix leaves the chat
@JosephCarlsonAfterHours3 жыл бұрын
Although Netflix has steadily grown their debt over the past years, their debt growth has topped out and they have reached a point of becoming free cash flow positive. This means they won't need to visit the debt markets to fund future content spend. Netflix doesn't plan on paying down their debt (as they feel they have better uses for the money with content spend and share buybacks) but I don't see them increasing debt at this point.
@easyBob1003 жыл бұрын
@@JosephCarlsonAfterHours If a pandemic is the best thing to happen to your business, it might not be a well run business. They also haven't been doing buybacks, but they have been issuing more shares over the last 5 years (along with increasing their debt). How they account for things is also a bit tricky. Could they turn it around, IDK. But I see a few years before they don't need debt to do what they do (as well as being able to pay off what they already owe).
