Sorry about the rubbish sound quality during some of this, I think the mic was to close to me so we I’ll sort it for next time! Hope it doesn’t spoil it too much.

Great ideas Pete. Yours is my favourite modelling chanel because you look at dioramas, not just kits. Your Harier idea is great, I had thought of the P1127 hovering over the rolling table at RAe Bedford but first I've got to check it was ever involved in such deck landing trials other wise it will have to be a prototype Navy Lynx or Wasp which certainly were. Another fun one might be a Harier on a "Sky hook" on the side of a ship. I'm not sure if it got as far as trials, or only a proposal. You are a mirror of yourself!

Thank you! I hope at least one of those great ideas comes to fruition!

absolutely agree Pete - ships and floatplanes/flying boats lend themselves to dioramas as well as any armoured vehicle. Helicopters as well.

Great video Pete, thanks for your insights. 👍 Some wicked ideas, and one of the reasons why I love your channel. Your enthusiasm, positivity and passion for modelling is a wonderful thing to behold and encourages me to approach my modelling from a different perspective. And the fact you don't just build models, you display them in some really fantastic and imaginative ways. Brilliant stuff Pete, thankyou. 🙏😁

I completely agree, Stuart, The long dark evenings mean there’s a bit more time to sit quietly and pursue the hobby. Good for the soul.

I've got a plan for a dio which will probably be started soon. 1/35 sd.kfz. 7 half track towing15cm howitzer, full crew in half track, several military police figures and an officer giving instructions to a motorbike rider. The inspiration was film of the late '30's military parades in Berlin and I got to thinking that there must have been some serious traffic management behind all of that, so this dio will depict an artillery regiment about to follow a motorbike from the assembly point to the start of it's run, just as it starts to rain. I'll call it "Raining on Adolf's Parade"

Excellent, I can picture it now, I hope you will be able to get stuck in soon
