Split shank cushion halo with round stone is a brilliant way to incorporate cushion shape! I loooove cushion shape, but they face up kinda small/are bottom heavy. The workmanship to minimize gap is absolutely brilliant.

The quality of the halo diamonds must be EXACTLY the same as the main diamond. Do you do that?

100% Yes, the small diamonds are color matched as closely as possible to the center diamond by hand under a microscope. (I am very picky about this). While smaller diamonds don’t have individual color grades, they come in the same color category, which I then hand-select to match.

Beautiful halos but disappointed not to see a baguette halo (esp with an asscher cut) as they are both art-deco-ish and modern, and great for those of us who don't like pave.

As much as I love diamonds, I don’t like halos. I’d prefer for the center stone to command all the attention.

I completely understand your preference! The center stone is definitely the star of the show and _should_ command all the attention. The halo simply acts as an entourage to the main star :) And as long as it's made well, it should only enhance, never take away. That being said, I do appreciate a well-done solitaire, so hopefully, my other videos here showcasing _those_ beauties dazzle you.
