I own colorless and near colorless and really prefer the G-H range since my skin is more tan/olive complexion and (to me at least) I think the near colorless seems to have more depth.

It's great that you found the color range that complements your skin tone and preference! Thank you for sharing your experience with diamond colors. :D

My favorite color is the one I have which is a D color. I also have an H color diamond which looks dark compared to the D colored one.
@VanessaNicoleJewels Жыл бұрын
Yes, some people are more sensitive to Color and prefer the icy white of a D color - especially if they're side-by-side for comparison. Thank you for watching! :)

Can you tell me if the D color diamond icy white like a CZ or does it still have a warm tone to it?
@hopespringseternal2624 Жыл бұрын
@@LNatureblush Hi there. I am not certain if you are asking me, but I have both a D color and E Color diamond ring and they are both icy white and simply stunning. There is no hint of color in either stone. They are gorgeous.

I’m an icy white girl but I also like white gold and platinum. I think the yellower stones look nicer in gold settings but a D icy white looks great in silver colored metal.

Great video!! I am currently looking for a diamond to match with a 1 CT that I already own to make a pair of stud earrings. My diamond is supposedly a "J" color, but not certified. That just seems to be the consensus after multiple independent appraisals. You can definitely notice it has a warm tone if I put it next to my other diamond that is a GIA certified "G" color. If you look at it in the gold setting that it is currently in, it looks warm but not obviously yellow. I want to purchase another diamond, but want a little less color. What is your opinion on having a set of earrings that mixes a "J" with and "I" color. Thanks in advance for responding. Does it matter much if the color doesn't match on earrings???
@VanessaNicoleJewels4 ай бұрын
Usually if they are that close in color between an I and J, people don't really notice a significant differences because they are positioned on either side of someone's head. It will be important that they match in Cut grade because if one is cloudy or poorly cut, that will stand out compared to the other one. Ultimately it depends how particular you are about them matching. Thank you for watching! 😀

What do you recommend For example 1.50ct cushion J VS1 Or 1.50ct cushion G SI1
@VanessaNicoleJewelsАй бұрын
Depends on the Cut, Fluorescence, and also if the SI1 inclusion is visible or not :)

What colour suits best with pink gold setting?
@VanessaNicoleJewels5 ай бұрын
The 'whiter the better' since sometimes metal color can be seen through the diamond depending on how it's well cut.

If you get a blue diamond radiant cut in a gold or rose gold setting with an excellent cut, can you go a little lower on clarity? Like VS1-2
@VanessaNicoleJewels10 ай бұрын
VS1-VS2 is great clarity and not considered low clarity. The clarity would have to be really poor to affect the sparkle. Hope this helps! :)

D color vs F Color VVS1 would anybody beable to tell difference with naked eye for a Tennis chain

Likely no, although perhaps to some eyes. But with the general public who doesn't inspect diamonds everyday, no.

What do you think about a N color diamond? Is it less valuable, does it look very very yellow? I chose a stone without knowing very well the grading system. But i wanted something with pale tints..
@VanessaNicoleJewels6 ай бұрын
It really is based on your preference for warmth. An N color diamond isn't bad if that's the coloring you like, it just is warmer than other colors. Thank you for watching! 😀

Which diamond quality reflects rainbow colors under light on a white gold setting simulation like moissinite
@VanessaNicoleJewels6 ай бұрын
Clarity enhanced diamonds can give off that rainbow effect sometimes, but we don't offer those so you won't see that effect in our videos. That said, you'll see the "pops of color" in direct sunlight for well-cut diamonds. Thank you for watching! 😀

Hi Vanessa I found 1.07 carat J color if clarity oval Natural diamond in very good cut fluorescence strong … I need you I’m scared 😪😪😪😪Do you think it looks too yellow? I’m planning yellow gold and six prongs (with white gold )
@VanessaNicoleJewels4 ай бұрын
I generally go for 'Excellent" cut with J colors to maximize light performance. Thank you for watching! 😀

Do true heart diamonds sparkle more?

I'm not familiar with that brand of diamonds. There are a variety of branded diamonds with cuts specific to their style, but I haven't seen that one specifically come across my desk.

Why do diamonds look darker in direct sunlight? I would’ve guessed the opposite.
@VanessaNicoleJewels10 ай бұрын
I know, right? Diamonds are uniquely fascinating in that way. I'll put my "nerd hat" on for a moment to properly answer, Lol. Here are a few reasons why diamonds can look darker in direct sunlight: 1) Dispersion - Diamonds have high dispersion, which means they break up white light into the colors of the rainbow very effectively. In direct sunlight, the rainbow colors bounce off the facets of the diamond and make it appear darker or less brilliant. 2) Light absorption - Diamonds absorb some colors (wavelengths) of light more than others. Yellow and brown diamonds absorb more blue light, so they can appear darker in sunlight which has a higher blue light component compared to indoor lighting. But even Colorless diamonds appear darker. 3) Light reflection - Diamonds are cut to maximize light return to the eye. But outdoors, some light reflects off the surface without entering the stone due to the brighter light intensity. This reduces the amount of light returned, making the diamond appear darker. 4) Shadowing - Facets can shadow each other more sharply in direct sunlight, reducing overall light return and making the diamond look darker from certain angles. 5) Light contrast - Surrounding brightness outdoors can make a diamond appear darker by visual contrast. Indoors, the diamond is relatively brighter against a darker background. Hope this helps! :)
