Thanks for this. Until recently I was very much a 1460 only doc fan (4 pairs) but in the last year a pair of jadon, black patent 1461 and sandals (white Blaire and black voss and black gryphon quads) have changed that! My most favourite pair are still my faux fur serena boots but I guess that’s because I live in the UK! 🙂

I'm in the UK and just arrived today in the post - I managed to grab a pair of bargain (brand new) black Sinclairs for £110, spotted them on Depop (£189 new)!! The leather is soft and they are very generous sized so hopefully won't need breaking in - I love love love them!

Glad that I just got my first pair of Jadons (and my first pair of blisters)! To be honest though, they feel very comfy except for the heel part, but I have this problem with most shoes while breaking in. Of course your feet will be sore after a full day, but I expect them to get better soon.

@@phipschi4255 they feel better, but I still get blisters in one particular spot if I wear them too long. I'm not wearing them everyday so that the blister can go away. Wearing 2 pairs of socks and a bandaid on places where it hurts helps a lot.

@@inthewanderyears in case you ask me, yes! i am in absolute love with them, my 1460s are so jealous i bet xD. the only discomfort i get is on my left foot, my 2nd toe from the pinky side rubs a bit on the top of the shoe, should get better when they got more creases on that erea hopefully! they fit perfectly in the same size as my normal docs

I wish they were more consistent with their sizing. My 7W took longer than my color pop blue which were unisex, ok, I get that. I bought a pair of CBGBs that are supposed to be unisex and was looking forward to little to no break in time, and they are worse than my 7W purple 1460s. :(

Tough! Both super cool! I prefer the normal Jadons because they will go with everything and not so extreme for if trends change. But the max are sexy af.

so I just got a pair of 8053 docs and I loved them to start with but now I'm seeing everyone wearing them as school shoes and I feel kinds insecure in them.... anyone got any idea to 'dress them up?' or just feel more confident (also how do I stop them creasing coz they're nappa leather)

Creasing is a natural part of leather. You can't stop it. It's how your boots get character!
