Hold them down is interesting to me. Because we dont really get a reason why Antonius HATES the royals as much as he does. We barely get any development for the character at all. In the original text, he's only there to prove the virtue of Odysseus in spite of his brutality (Antonius chooses to be brutal for seemingly no reason whereas Odysseus was forced in brutal situations -and Ody killing him is him proving he's still a superior human being to a rampaging barbarian - a very platonician ideal of the leader as a better person) BUT in this song the use of "hold them down" as a motif, and of the throne getting colder + "While I slowly break his pride, trust, faith and bones" really put forward the monarchy as people of power that Antonius wants to see put down - my theory is he hates them for just that, their pride, the fact no one else dares defy them (hence breaking the trust) and the fact that faith itself seems to let the royals control everyone else. Unfortunately he dies right at the end of the song so I'll never know if there ever was a real motivation to flesh out this villain

Hold them down is gross. It's necessary for the story, but not one I go back for a relisten.
