Hilton I picked my 09 coupe up with 187,000 miles, full service history for $8,000 USD. Mileage doesn’t show except for the dash... it’s the only ugly bit, but it runs absolutely perfect. Biggest thing I’ve got is bushings and age related maintenance items.

Congrats Mike - the XK is one of Jaguar's true classics. Many years from now, they will be regarded as the E-Type is now. They are very scarce and that mileage is nothing for that car. It can do a million miles and more ;-)

Hilton oh I have no doubt! The late 2000’s Jags (the final Ford era cars) seems to be where my heart lies.. I’d love to have an 09 XJ to match and an XKR convertible for the weekends, and a 2.0T XF for a daily for the mileage. Though I’ve been driving the XK to work the last couple weeks and averaging almost 28 MPG highway driving which is incredible for a big V8.

Wow Mike, 28mpg is amazing. If memory serves, back in 2009 28mpg was the EPA's standard and most four cylinders back then were struggling to get that. Your XK's engine is clearly very healthy still and well run in. I give my XF a go now and again just to clear out the cobwebs :-D

Hey there, the ceramic coat is doing very well. My XF still looks like new. Haven't washed it yet and we got some bad weather coming in so I'll have to wash it soon. The big test will be how it stands up to rain and being washed - does it come off or does it stay on? I'll be doing a follow up video in a month or so.

Just an FYI, I bought the sunglass holder. I f you notice he has a bit of trouble with it. That's because it wasn't made to fit that car. If you look for it on eBay you'll find that out. If you want the one I have I'll give it to you.

@@carfanfan I love it 2011 XFR 5.0 510 HP ,with 70K on it and so far all I've had go wrong is the water pump go out. It's real hard to find XFR accessories for these cars, lots of stuff for the XF. I enjoy your videos and have a great 2019.

Hi Hilton, Foot Rest pedals the one linked doesn't say XF in pictures, also I've seen few sayas Jaguar on them but can't find the one's which will fit 2013 model.

These will fit your XF, however, I only used the foot rest and not the others as they require drilling. They come with a logo, but check with the seller which logo. Thankd David. I used a wheel center cap. Bought it on AliExpress but just measure the diameter of your shift knob and make sure you order the right diameter center caps and simply stick it on ;)

That's usually a tire pressure sensor that's failed. The batteries in them last about about 8-10 years and then you need to replace them. Be ware though, if you buy the aftermarket ones, their batteries only last about 2 years ;)

Out of curiosity Hilton, you haven't found a passenger side transmission tunnel storage net/bag of any kind have you? I don't know if the trunk ones in black would work up front or not. I have a 14 E63 AMGs model, and on the passenger side I have a stretch net bag with some kind of rubber top on it in the passenger side foot well, it's an excellent holder for a couple of drinks you don't want immediately (like bottles for example). Just wondering if you ran across this yet. I am enjoying my 15 XF 5.0 SC a lot. It is a very nice update from my 06 Lincoln LS.

Hey Kleetus, unfortunately I haven't. I can recommend those I have in the trunk though. They would fit in the footwell over the tranny tunnel and they stick like you know what to a stick, so they will hold anything. They're also small enough to fit there.

Hi Hilton. Today I have a boot open Warning light, which preventing me using remote to lock car and set alarm also the boot release button external and internal are not working, the boot is locked and having to use skeletion key to open boot also lock car. I’ve looked on KZbin and nothings coming up as a reason.

Hey Chippy, I'm afraid the news isn't good. You will have to replace the wiring harness that leads to the trunk. These are prone to becoming brittle with age and with all the opening and closing, some wires break off - if you open the boot, you can see the harness covered by a rubber sleeve - if you unclip the sleeve, you might get lucky and see the wire right there that has broken in half.

How do I get my high beam headlight on ? Currently my low beam is working automatic high and low I can’t seem to fix it anyone knows who has an 2015 XF Jaguar sports

If I recall correctly, pushing the indicator stalk forward sets the highbeams and if you headlight switch is turned to "auto", then the auto highbeam will work with the stalk in constantly in the high beam setting. If it isn't working, the sensor behind the rear view mirror could be faulty.

Thanks so much for the tips Hilton! In case you remember or saved the pedal covers, was the silver part real metal and could you pull off the rubber part from it? Asking because I think it looks too bright like that, if it's not permanently glued together I could order the same, take it apart, tone down the metal and reassemble.

The rubber is the backing that fits into the metal part - it's brushed aluminium - unfortunately, the one can't function without the other. The round rubber pieces slot through holes in the metal fitting. But they'd be protruding too much if you took the metal part way.

@@carfanfan Oh I didn't mean I'd use just the rubber part alone - I thought that if the two pieces can be separated it would be easy-ish to for example paint or clearcoat the metal part to a less bright colour, and then out it back together with the rubber part and install them into the car

That isn't normal I'm afraid. It could be the spark plugs are old. Do you have the full service history of the car? The plugs usually get changed every 8 years or 100,000 miles

For the tiny return in revenue after doing this for 7 years and only 10k subs, not worth it. It was stressful working a day job whilst doing all the work to film videos and edit them. Nah, over it. 🤗
