My Top 5 Pairs Of Pants

The item I get asked about most is my pants (or trousers here in the UK). Do I tailor my trousers, where do I buy them from, and which styles are best? So in today’s video, I am going to talk about my most worn and most versatile pairs of trousers, well two pairs are denim, so 3 pairs of trousers and 2 pairs of denim.
All the pants in this video are straight off the rack and come as they are. If you find it difficult to find pants that fit, then I also tell you exactly what to say to the tailor to get the same look as I go for with my pants.

UPDATE ON THE NN07 Trouser. They are showing some signs of fading already.

Typical NN07 pants. I used to like the brand but almost everyone of them are faded om my butt because of riding my bicycle i presume. Or just sitting :-).

My trousers of choice this autumn will be two pairs of Levi's 511 bought from vinted for a total cost of £40 in medium blue denim and beige corduroy. Accompanied by a pair of black M&S Blue Harbour trousers I found in a local charity shop for £3 that I had tailored for £15.

IMO it’s worth paying up for the premium line of Levi’s. I have a pair of their normal outlet line and I can tell the difference sun quality.

@@stephentomaszewski8501If you buy vintage Levi's they have the same quality as the premium ones, (until the early 2000's) There is actually ways that you can know the year they were made by the tags and I can tell you the difference in quality because I have both, I have some from 2009 and other's from 1998 and the difference is quite noticeable. You can also see by the country they were made in, If they were made in Bangladesh for example, they may be more recent than ones made in European countries, USA or Mexico, therefore with less quality.

I picked up two pairs of the NN07 Bill trousers over a year ago. I got the wool blend ones and they held up beautifully! Highly recommend them. And if you don't want the cropped fit, size up in the length.

I used to have a tailored pair of trousers several years ago, they had a perfect fit and just a slight crop and I loved them so much. I started going to the gym a lot and eventually they became unwearable and ever since then I haven't been able to replicate them with bigger legs. But those NN07 ones look like if my pair was scaled up, I'm definitely picking them up and I can't wait. Such a helpful video man thank you.

My two favorite pairs are a navy pair of straight fit dress pants, as well as a grey pair. I love them. Feel like sweatpants in jeans form.

What a timing. I just tapered 3 smart pants a couple days ago. Two pair turned out fine like I wanted, however one is slightly wider in the thigh area. Also the hem length is still too long, like half-break when I like quarter-break. I wish I watched this prior to that, so I can tell the tailor exactly how much alterations I would've preferred, I pretty much followed the suggestions because I thought they know better. But I guess first time experience, the more I know.

I loved the first ones yo wore for this vid., but with those legs, yo can wear anything you want and it will look good. Im 1.84m and weight only 61kg, (I wear 29x32, if I go wider, they feel too loose on the waist) so I tend to wear them a tad skinnier or else my legs feel and look like they're swimming inside the trousers' fabric 😅. i thought the same as well. there's a bill 1700 trouser that isn't considered tapered/cropped. you have to get the ones that say cropped and tapered. it drove me nuts for the longest because they all looked like completely different pants then his.

​@@toad8427yeah man, it's actually a long sleeve shirt from COS. I think they changed it to be black or white and got rid of navy (at least for EU). If you're on the larger side I wouldn't recommend it, in my case it just barely fit but really hugged my shoulders and chest.
