Thank you Donny I am grateful for your presence here and the time you take to reply to our comments. Only one other person does this that I know of right now. Her name is Amber and she has a KZbin site as well. And she talks about Non-profit and the in's and out's of the operation of a functioning non-profit as I am about to establish as a Not-For-Profit a 501(c)7 - a Garden Club growing our Microgreens of course! 🌱This will be quite a venture while also establishing a team of board members, directors and volunteers. Quite exciting😁 I appreciate how you align yourself with TRUTH above all. Thank you once again for this opportunity!

Starting! I ran a computer retail business for 22 years, at the time my 4 child was born, he had complications in the first 6 weeks, and ongoing cognitive and ASD issues, I had to sell that business 9 years ago, and since then I have craved getting back out there, and Microgreens gave me that opportunity to get started again.

Proudest moment? So far, finding this channel and joining the FB group. I am a retired chef who has 'sprouted' for years, never had let them grow out though into micro greens. Fast forward, my good friend's brother was a legal caregiver here in SW mi. for years, then the bottom dropped out of that biz, (at least around here, cause so many people 'grow their own'.) Now I am tasked (VERY BLESSED) to run a three room, very close to state of the art grow rooms, ($100,000 build out that has paid for itself many times) we are going to turn one into a microgreens room (YEA!), one into a legal culinary/medicinal mushroom room i.e. lions' mane, turkey tail, shitakes, oysters, etc and the third will be what it was. I am embarking upon an incredible journey, one with amazing twists and turns ahead and I am SO BLESSED to find an amazing channel that will help me in my new endeavor. Thank you Donny.

Beautifully said sentiments!! Outstanding. I’m growing just for myself and my family. We switched gradually to a plant-based diet nearly 12 years ago, and the health benefits have been obvious. But I do believe that growing can be a very rewarding business as well. I wish you and everyone who tries it as a business great success. Please remember that you are working to improve the diets and long-term health of so many people! The vast majority of people live on junk food, so even an occasional switch to microgreens is a huge improvement in their nutrition. We really need more people out there pushing real nutrition, and microgreens is a fantastic way to do it.

I’m most proud of the fact that I’ve always dreamed of working for myself but had always been caught up in the 9-5 cycle while raising a family. I am a master’s prepared nurse and two years ago I boldly walked away from my career because the “behind the scenes truth” about healthcare doesn’t align with my morals and values. I have had an Etsy business since 2018 and have been doing that full time since leaving nursing- but the nurse in my craves more- I am certified in plant based nutrition and I feel that a microgreens business is just what my heart and my community can use.

Right now, I am most proud of stepping out and grabbing this opportunity. I am 67 and needed a health change in my life. Thanks, Donny, for your inspiration and clear teachings on microgreens! This is my second year of growing and selling microgreens, and I'm slowly but surely building my delivery customer base. Proud moment right now is making the decision to expand laterally from my home base, instead of centralizing as there are a few competing growers now at the local market. I don't mind the competition at all! In fact, if I were to join that local market, I would focus on the lesser-grown varieties to market like amaranth (challenging but fun!), arugula, cilantro, and popcorn! Your name is the first I mention when someone else wants to learn about microgreens on-line, if I can't teach them myself!

Later in life my ex husband and I started an business and succeeded for 10 years Commercial and residential painting and Carpentry repairs.. Unfortunately it didn't work out for our marriage. I became merchant marine and worked on my apprenticeship to become Jr .Marine Engineer. After 18 years covid hit, I had an medical exemption due to past reactions to medicines & flu shots.
