I really like how you've shown how to interact with people. I really want to sell at the markets but am not great at small talk. I've watched many videos on KZbin and never seen actual interactions. Thank you, very helpful.

I will place 1 or 2 containers out for customers to see, but maintain the bulk of my microgreens in the cooler. Thinking about having 'model samples' made up for permanent display and using the chalkboard signs to show what I've got. I won't sell the packs I put out as they get too much sun (angle and time of day, placement of partner's tent, etc.) so I plan to eat those when the market ends that day. Ours is only 2 hours and small...but there are other neighboring markets that are 4 hours and attract more vendors and customers. Nice job on the video!

Fresh cut solves so many problems, but transport can be your biggest issue. People love the freshest option. I sell $4/oz, $3.5/oz for 4+ oz. Cutting fresh is also really easy to provide samples, samples are the biggest draw in for a lot of new people I sell to

what you should do is take a juicer, juice a bit up and mix it with some applejuice or something. Put small glasses out so people can taste "health" smoothies. or take out some crackers with cheese spread and sprinkle some spicy salad mix on top. So people have testers and also an idea what you can do with it..

Unfortunately the local farmers' markets here are very strict and see that as Food prep which comes with a whole another group of licenses and complications 😢
@kevinfilbin76882 жыл бұрын
They don't allow food prep because the don't want food trucks taking vendor space away from produce which is the whole point of having a farmers market

@@captkirk2670 I never had single issues with Rambo , Amaranth its very tricky . I personally don't seed dense and have fan running on if for most part . I do use diluted food grade peroxide and that works well. Food Grade Peroxide its deferent form regular one you buy at the store it doesn't contain certain stabilizers like : acetanillide , phenol, sodium stanate or tetrasodium pyrophoshate , Its simply hydrogen and oxygen only . Elements that are around you at all times . Yes you need to be carful with it but its used in many food applications at all times including processing cheese and bleaching wheat flour.

I want to know how to calculate the price of my product? Which variants I have to take in consideration for the final price? Like: - price of seeds - price of soil - energy and watering cost (how do I measure these?) - packaging + labels What else? Do I make a final sum of everything and measure the product by Ounces and divide? I’m so lost at how to calculate the price. 🫠🫥

So, now i understand why i am seeing a lot of videos from folks who grow microgreens in their basements or whatever who are making big bucks. If tou can sell this 2 ounce container for 8 dollars its easy to get rich. Where i live, a 2 ounce (60 grams) container of biological microgreens in the supermarket is around 2.19 dollars.
