I’ve been using your tips about deep conditioning. Every time I wash, I’m leaving my hair alone, and getting over it with the curl pattern and I have been successfully growing out my hair. It helps that I use a lot of protective styles and keep my hair moisturized underneath them. I got me some better scissors so when I do turn my ends they’re not all frayed. Listen to her she’s very knowledgeable and she’s 100% correct!

I've watched this a million times. So many facts. I'll admit, I've gotten away from following the science of hair. You were the reason I went natural in late 2013 and I've gone back and forth in doubting your methods and expertise due to false information in the "natural hair community".I stopped using shampoo , used heavy oils and raw butters to style, relied on trying different products to grow my hair + not drinking enough water. I'm coming back around and have noticed better results in my hair from simply falling in love with my hair as my own and not comparing it to anyone else or trying crazy "growth methods". Thank you for always sticking to the science!
