Food in hair (avocado, banana mask)- check, dirty brushes, I’ve had for years- check, leaving the conditioner in way past the recommended time- check, going to bed with wet hair- check, Using regular conditioner to detangle/prepoo and therefore rendering the deep conditioner useless afterwards- check. Over 10 years natural and I’m still learning- check. Let me go sit my a** in a corner, I’m in time out right now to think about my life decisions.🤦🏽‍♀️😂

@@ileanasantamaria2364 First I respect what the young lady is preaching! However, I disagree with her. I use avocado with a mixture of green oils weekly, and my hair is growing like crazy, I already had long hair, but know it is past my bra strap. What was a game changer, was using clarifying shampoo, and conditioner. Shelf life products have no life. The young lady is selling a line of products. Know your hair. For example I stop flat ironing and blow drying.

YES! Finally someone confirms my suspicions. My hair has so much breakage, but I don't blow dry, or use heat tools. All I do wash 2x week. However, I use lots of conditioner. I actually use rinse out conditioner first to detangle, then wash my hair, then use deep conditioner...i also never condition longer than the product says, i try to always use heat, but i don’t believe in overnight deep conditioning unless it’s a natural oil (pre poo) and i wash out the next morning. Understanding this totally changed my hair care, youtube literally ruined my hair for years.
