@@viggzplashfilms1232 it was too expensive . The Portuguese broadcaster couldn't afford LED screen , so that's why they decided to do a Eurovision without LED screen .

Personally, I like Sweden 2015 more. Russia 2016 was like "Okay guys, just write a simple song. I'm going to get these points with A HUGE LED WALL WITH SPECIAL EFFECTS AND EPICNESS!" I like the song from Mans more because the song and what he's singing fits with the projection he's interacting with.

Indeed! I always saw Russia 2016 as a simple, typical song without totally ill-fitting special effects. Sure, it was impressive. But it looked stupid with the song.

Portugal said no LED in 2018 and Germany, Sweden and Malta said: "Screw it, we'll bring our own then." 2016 was such a good year for use of staging. So many good uses of the stage!

The staging was absolutely stunning and fitted the song to every second. The only reason it didn't win is because Fairytale was something new and different

I personally think 2011 had the best overall led screens! Firstly, the screen was humongous yet the graphics were still top quality, considering it was only 2011, secondly, the actual projections were used really well! I loved macedonias! And finally, it was separated from the stage. I don’t know why but I love that!😍😍😍

Personally, I liked this year that there were no LED screens, because they usually take away the attention from performers (especially 2016 and 2017). I would like to see more contests with no LEDs, but as I read that in 2019 there will be LED screens again, well...

I agree. But for me the worst cases are 2012 and 2014 They allow only 6 people max. on stage, so why the fuck make a gigantic stage where the performers look like little bugs and we can barely see them? I agree that LED looks cool and makes the performance interesting, but should be a part of the performance, not the main focus. It's like spice. You add spice to make the food taste better, but when you add too much spice, the food gets bad

Sweden 2015 was best IMHO. It was novel, different, seemed simple and yet was impressive. Just think how many acts in 2016 were interacting with their LED- also why Iceland didn´t do better, ppl felt it was ´copying´ too much- it is very good song! BTW, while I was sure at the time that Mans will win, I wasn´t as much into the song, but the staging stole the show. It was EPIC.

To me the best ones are: Ireland 2011: I don't like this Song. At all. I don't enjoy the singers. But I enjoy the performance, because they could elevate it with the projections in the back. And the performance elevated the song, for sure. Looks like a music video, It's so energetic. Georgia 2015: I mean, just look at It. So dark and epic. Sweden 2018: Technicaly is not a projection, because It's just lights, But the ideia is awesome and super creative, super well executed as well. Moldova 2013: Just beautiful. The way the projections flow is really good. Áustria 2014: in a year with a gigantic stage where the performers looked like little ants and the people behind the performance made a projection show, this one kept with the theme of the song and Gave us an amazing number, with fire flowing beautifully. France 2016: France showing the frenchness, I live. Ukraine 2011: This for me is THE best one, because it's creative and sooooo original, so out of the box. It's not Just sand art, It's sand art being done LIVE! Some incredible shit, elevated a good song by 1000x. Estonia 2018: beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. It's like Moldova 2013 But upgraded. Elevate the song, create a magical espectacle. Iceland 2016: really good. I like that she is being part of the projections and we have that dark feel to it. Sweden 2016: I mean, it's amazing. Totally tells the story of the song, is Connected, is incredible, it captivates our eyes... The performance that started a trend of this interative projections. (Dis)honaroble mention: Russia 2016 Go on, hate on me. I don't like the projections at all. To me is exaggerated and the visuals don't match the song. The performance itself is impressive, Sergey is a Very talented performer, But I can't get behind this. When the fucking wings appeared on the screen I was like WTF. And everybody loves it, so yeah, I'm a jerk
