You guys have "sparring day"... we spar literally in all training sessions. Some will be only boxing or only kickboxing, other will be only grappling, and another day will be mma. The more you spar the more the faster you learn. Just for curiosity, what do you do in other days? Cuz even as a kid training Shotokan we spared in every single class, light sparring or point sparring, but we sparred in every session

You got sparring days ? WE do it every day
@RexWu4 ай бұрын
we have classes and we have sparring drill classes where we sometimes do 10-15 inutes of sparring at the end. and then we have a day where for 2 hours, we do nothing but spar. no class. no drills. just as many 3 minute rounds as you can possibly get in 2 hours

Im sorry if you already answered this, but I have a few questions about starting MMA training with minimal experience. Most MMA gyms offer Muay Thai or Jiu Jitsu rarely just an MMA overall class, Which one should I start with? When should I start doing both or switch over? Thank you in advance, love the content!

why is the inside foot sweep useful ? I mean u just trip ur opponent and u don't hurt him at all , and the only redeemable attribute I can think of is that u stop ur opponent's attack on u Can you correct me if I'm wrong and tell me why I should use this move? And is the lead roundhouse to the body really an intercepting move? I mean it's a curved strike and straight strike beats a curved one so I will get hit 9/10 times? Ay man, I'm not tryna say these techniques aren't effective I'm js tryna understand and learn So can u tell me the reason or tips as to why/how I use these strikes? Great vid as always man :)
@MMAShreddedАй бұрын
You can follow up with a knee or punch after the inside footsweep. It also looks very dominating in the eyes of the judges. They score high. Sweeps in general score high. As for the lead body kick, your opponent is walking into your shin, it’s damaging and keeps them back. Highly used in Muay Thai fights

I tried #2 at Bear Fight Club in Chiang Mai. They let me know it is indeed a foul. Unfortunate, as it is such a fun technique to excecute (and even fun to fail at!) I'll keep it in my bag as an illegal move, relaxed rules sweep, or self defense tactic I suppose. #1 looks legal to me and have had it used on me in muay thai classes at the same gym.
