Another great video. I have decided to give up on goniopora and alveopora (yes even dosing manganese didn’t work) and got my first acropora in trade for some cheato. No idea what it is though. Seems to be dark purple with cyan polyps but it’s far from happy yet.

Do you have tips for polyp extention on sps aside from stability? My montipora forest fire wont open it is growing. I dont have any non reef safe fish. Amd my other monti digitatas are open i got three on 3 diffrent places so thats not the problem.

Would you mind elaborating on how your regal angelfish is comtributingbto reduced polyp extension? I was considering a regal angel myself and was under the impression they really only nipped at LPS or softies.

It's not that he's contributing to reduced PE, he's almost certainly the only cause. Not uncommon from what I understand - you can always catch and rehome him if it doesn't work out for you though...

As long as you've corrected the salinity, there's not much more you can do beyond maintaining good water quality
