Had never played a BG game before. Launch day saw 5 close friends all playing, figured I'd check it out on a whim (and had already heard about how there was no micro transactions or any loot box BS). Welp, 120hrs later, Im still going strong... I think I'll have to agree. Fav game of at least the last five years. Looking forward to doing an full evil run after I complete my current goody goody run.

Please showcase Enhanced Transmog. Wayden and Eralyne have created a much simpler and optimized version of Ultimate Transmog. Enhanced Transmog has compatibility with Basket of Equipment and other mods that add armor skins. It is a proper Transmog mod that doesn't use the camp clothing slot or anything like that like the early Transmog mods did.

Its worth noting that Elves and Elvis aren't exactly the same thing. Here in the UK we don't have a Seattle or Portland, but you can find the same species in Camden, Brighton and Bristol. In Japan you'll mostly find them in Akihabra

Thank you for this resource! I just started up a new save last night so I think I'm about ready to start introducing mods to my gameplay. I always like to play at least once without mods so I get the full "intended" experience, and then allow mods to breathe new life into the game. I use the Native Camera Tweaks and WASD Character Movement mods so that I can zoom in and run around like a typical third person game, if you are interested in such a thing.

Got mixed feelings on this one. I'm excited to jump into BG3 when I get done with Sea of Stars (I wanted to frontload a couple of much, much shorter games as I knew BG3 would take over my life), but I never got around to playing BG1 and 2 or D:OS 1 and 2, and I am somewhat afraid playing BG3 first would make it hard to go back to the older ones. I'd probably be OK, but eh. Plus I heard Larian is working on cross-play, so if I wait I could maybe play it with my friend who will get it on PS5.

Don't be. I've never played BG1 or 2 and while I am sure there are little things that I have not caught, it's been absolutely wonderful. I have played DOS2, so ok maybe little things game mechanics wise made sense to me straight away, but as a non-DND player that took me a lot longer to get my head around than any DOS2 system did.

There are a few themes and characters from bg1 and 2, but it's set 100 years after and is completely self-contained. If you have loads of time, bg 1 and 2 are great... D:OS is great too (for the gameplay, the story is a bit too over the top for me)... but bg3 is the best of them all and stands alone well.

Don't worry about that. D:OS 1 and 2 use a different system to BG3 and that creates loads of nuances that differ in gameplay. These games have aged really well, they have nothing to envy BG3 about.

There should be an basket amulet, wear it & cast its spell and it will spawn a ghost basket in your inventory. Open the ghost basket and take out the real basket because the ghost basket will disappear after a bit. This mod actually crashed my game every time I tried to spawn it after the patch, but if it works for you that's great! Just be warned lol 😊

oddly my game crashed more when i had no mods installed then after i decided to add in a few mods for hair and face it ran better for the most part save for the followers not following glitch i got once

This video is very helpful. I find it important, that things are not just shown, but also explained. And the author explained it well. Also the Shadow druid backpack in the "Misc Mod" has some nice clothes. But sadly i always get the inscription "Not found" and i can't see half of the items there. Can it be checked also?

I have some of these mods, I love them, but, something really annoying is the lack of clothing options for men and strong women, almost all the clothes are made for the female elf/Half-elf/human body number 1. In fact, trying the clothes with the characters, only Shadowheard can use all of them, not even Lae'zel can use them. I would like to see more noble clothes for men, specially now that I'm playing Wyll who I want he looks more like a noble after we rescued his father!

I feel the same way. It's really annoying. I had a strong girl but had to switch to a small one because the mod didn't work... Luckily, these clothes are mostly available in the game and those versions do work.

I have trouble with the clothing. I can only use the two slots underneath the toggle for default and camp clothes. So I cant mix and match. Any ideas what i did wrong? :(

I've just got the PC game and I was playing with mods, Does anyone know a hair mode that works with Highlights, I used Tav's Hair Salon but that won't let you put highlights in the hair, which is a big part of my characters background,

There is even better transmog mod out now. Enhanced Transmog now is a fully optimized iteration of Ultimate Transmog. Enhanced Transmog has compatibility with any mod that adds armor like Basket of Equipment. It actually places the skin of the armor over top of the original instead of using the camp clothing slot so you can have both transmogged armor and camp clothes.

Did you go to the location on the map to pick up the basket? It's near the ship wreck at the beginning of the game, on the beach. In there, you'll find an amulet to summon it again.

Which mods did you use? Mine didn't work with face replacement mods... you can also try re-ordering them. Another thing to try, check a different save.

For me, Vortex is better. Installing collections is really simple and if you have premium nexus account (like 6 euros/dollars w/e) a month, all the mods will be downloaded automatically to Vortex for easy install with instructions if you need to do something manually.

@@FRoSTBiT3z It's in the lower city... one of the first tavern/inns I went to... and I think it had recently had a murder, so nobody wanted to rent the upstairs... so look for that in dialogs.

Vortex can work... it's easier, but doesn't do some key things. It can cause issues with load order for your mods... if it's working, just do it... if it breaks, I'd switch to mod manager.

There's plenty of nudity online available if I need it... I don't need to get off to my bg3 characters. Though, there's nothing wrong with nudity. Anyway, on my own, I don't play with the characters running around with their parts exposed because it looks even more ridiculous than the bondage gear.

If it works... then you're ok. However, mod manager is the recommended/standard thing for BG3. Some mods may have issues... and Mod Manager can do things like save different mod lists specifically for bg3, install overrides (different than regular mods), and install the script extender.
