#4 works so well because in episode 5 Louie IS vicious with his words to Armand! So it tracks and it sells the scene because we know that Louie can fight dirty with words.

I am delighted to see this! In response to your guileless commentary, I sense that the Lestat character is gravitated to by some seeking to shield themselves against the times that this story takes place within. Some are avoidant of a history they would just as soon personally dismiss so they choose the character who is most able to accommodate the dismissal. This takes nothing from Sam's performance of Lestat which is stellar! What the writers do to accommodate this avoidant response remains to be seen. Hiding behind Louis wouldn't work because his character is among those attempting to live within and survive that very recent and very real time in US history. Meanwhile, Jacob's Louis is magnetic and compelling as it gets! Then along comes Claudia, Bailey's "hurricane in a dress"! The story ignites! I agree that she and Louis are naturals together, giving us moments of superb beauty and balance! Jacob Anderson is nothing short of a miracle in the role of Louis! I sense that he leaves all expectations in the dust for this role. I also sense that he has at least two past lives in Louisiana (don't laugh) and it comes through like lightening in a mega-storm in this production. There is one more "Louis moment" that I would humbly suggest, and that is the tap dance scene. I must watch it at least twice a day because it is pure joy! The look on Louis/Jacob's face throughout that scene is completely priceless!

The Jacob cutout makes this video even more amazing😂. So good to find other Louis fans. I love all the characters but Louis has ny heart, Jacob being hella FINE also helps😅. I, too, love "unhinged" Louis. There's something about how human he is and his ability to switch on his Vampire side and cause chaos. My favourite scene is #9 when he dragged Santiago by the tongue and called him "good boy", my lord🥵. You know Louis is gonna be messy/chaotic when there's a tongue involved. First the scene at #9 with Santiago's tongue, then in the "fight" scene with Lestat and finally the fight scene with Armand in S2Ep5.

I wish more people would watch the show with more of an open mind, but I noticed that some people watch it with their own bias I mean people are calling Lestat racist and going after Louis and trying to make him the big villain of the story. I think the only character that people have been easy on is Armand and and I actually don't have a problem with that because I do believe that he has his reasons I believe every character have their reason for what they did.I am not saying that it's right no they're not right they're toxic they all have their trauma but at the same time they're vampires so I'm not holding them on a human standards. All of these actors are doing a great job with these complex characters I love Louis my favorite character but I know that I'm living in Lestat World so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll get more Louis in season 3

The number two spot is what Louis is trying to protect people from. I mean, lestat love this Louis, but he would regret it if that's the Louis he got. What he did to that body shows you what Louie is capable of, and people should be thankful that he is not willing to let loose like that.

Did you see it when Daniel goes to the restaurant and he meets with the tallamasca and they say don't worry about Armand. You should be worried about Louis and I was like I would be more worried about Armand 😂 He can move stuff with his mind 😂

I think It's because the vampires have a country accent some of them 😂 It's just so campy and fun. I just thought it was a great show

​@@veronika__asmr_You're right, you either love it or hate it😅. I wanted more vampire shows after IWTV ended, I saw True Blood in a lot of recommendations so I gave it a shot. I was one of those who couldn't finish an episode but I wanted to like it😭. To be fair to True Blood, IWTV ruined me for other shows, nothing I've watched since I discovered IWTV has been able to capture my interest like it did. I even watched Breaking Bad and was still unsatisfied 😭😭
