MY TORTUROUS 9 HOUR FLIGHT on Virgin Atlantic from LAS VEGAS to LONDON left ME MENTALLY BROKEN FOR LIFE!
Stuck onboard Virgin Atlantic Flight VS156 from Las Vegas to London Heathrow in Economy in front of 3 passengers who were clearly under the influence of alcohol, these passengers were warned and almost kicked off the plane for being drunk and abusive. After take off one of them was demanding more alcohol, however the cabin crew refused and said if they do not calm down they will have to land the plane and kick them off. One of them was hammering the back of my seat and swearing at me.
Never again! I can honestly say this was THE WORSE FLIGHT OF MY LIFE! This has left me mentally broken and very upset.

Don't eat at sit down restaurants and don't order drinks from the bar of you don't want to tip. There are.plently of fast food places and liquor stores, grocery stores, etc., where a tip is nit expected. Honestly, is it really that hard to tip at least, AT LEAST, $1 per drink? Seriously?

Thanks for all the videos. You flew out of the new terminal 3 in Vegas which is much quieter than the main terminal. 4 weeks until I head to London and to Nottingham. Hoping for good weather. A few things that you state as facts that aren't: 1. You NEVER have to tip the 25%, 15% buttons. There is a button that says " other" on the tip screen, there, you can choose no tip or custom tip. It is NEVER mandatory to tip $5 for the person that hails a cab for you. NEVER. There isn't a sign that states that, there isn't an unspoken rule about it, you simply assumed that. If you don't know the facts, stop spreading inaccurate information for your viewers.

What could be tortuous about a 10 hour flight from vegas to LHR? Try a flight from Auckland and be told in Auckland that the second leg flight of the journey has been cancelled and rebooked for 29 hours later in LAX, which happened to me earlier this year. Then you can talk to me about a tortuous flight 🙄

The change of runways has nothing to do with wind. Having lived just off the end of Heathrow, the reason is to give the residents a break from flights every 90 seconds. In the old days the BA flights were real screamers, you always knew when BA was coming in. Funny, I never minded Concord, noisy as it was, it was just a pleasure to see it coming in to land.

Just loved this video as I’ve had a bad experience from LA to Australia.Me being a single woman who burst in to tears when her Qantas flight was taking off when I landed from Barbados late. The most beautiful check in girl cuddled me and sorted my flight out…There are some amazing people who work there who saved my slobbering mess !!

Runways change at Heathrow under something called the Cranford Agreement based on the village of Cranford, basically for noise abatement to give residents a rest. They land on a certain runway 9.00am to 3.00pm then change though they can use both for landings early morning due to the volume of arrivals. And that’s based on a westerly wind, if its easterly the use the same one for take off and landing all day.

I was on a flight and a couple of pissheads started kicking off, including drinking duty free.Cabin manager took their passports,banned drink, confiscated duty free. On landing everyone was asked to stay seated except these 2 who summoned forward to the galley and given the biggest bollocking I have ever heard.From both the cabin manager and the captain.It was still going on when the rest of the punters were leaving.😠😠😠

You landed on 27L (27 Left) the parallel is obviously 27R. These are the preferred runways, wind permitting. The runway alternates and chandelier at 15:00 daily. So to explain if 27L is in use today , during the morning, it will change to departures at 15:00. Tomorrow it will reverse with 27R being used for landings until 15:00 etc, etc

Heathrow runway changeover is at 3pm every day to relieve residential areas on approach and/or departure routes.

Take off and land is into the wind,the UK prevailing winds are Westerlies,ie from the west so most of the time the west facing runways 27L and 27R are used,1 for departures,1 for arrivals.you landed on 27L. L means Left and R means Right. At 3pm each day they swap them around for noise abatement. When winds are from the east they take off and land in the opposite direction,Runway 09L is generally used for arrivals and 09R for departures.

I once flew from Reno to Tampa on Southwest. Problem: three stops, same plane. I was the only person who stayed on the plane for the whole trip. I hadn’t checked on the details before booking. I’ve gone between a casino hotel and Las Vegas airport using the city buses. That was 20 years ago though. Wasn’t too bad then.

Cabin crew have a difficult decision when it comes to borderline drunks , however strict enforcement should be applied with a breathalyser at departure gate and if over certain level you lose your ticket. Problem will be in the delays in retrieving luggage once you offload passengers, We need harsher punishments for people who disregard the safety of others. I love a drink and dont believe it should be stopped onboard but people drinking at 6am in the morning before a flight ???????.. Usually flights from LAS to LHR are quiet as people realise the cost of a LV holiday.

Aircraft take off and land into the wind so runway direction depends on the wind direction. And at LHR they swap runways around 1500 hrs .👍

Little tip. Always always keep shoes on for take off and landings. If you have to evacuate there may be broken glass, ripped and sharp metal etc on the ground or aircraft floor

It never fails to amaze me how some people seem to get away with anything when others get pinged for the slightest thing , realistically that woman behind you should never have been allowed to board and bumped to a later flight . The food looked absolutely disgusting but that’s economy class travel these days , bad food , bad service and seats designed to destroy your back / legs . Personally we never fly economy class anymore rather we go premium economy or business class particularly on long haul ( Over 3 hours ) .

Hell is other people - and I would recommend premium economy (we took the same flight to Vegas a few years ago and it was tops). Cost cutting on long haul just isn't worth it if you've the means for one level up from cattle

I felt so thrilled when you flew over near Heathrow. Looks stunning. Nice to see some greenery, not like dumpy Vegas. Cannot believe how dry and awful it looked, even on the way to the grand canyon. I live in one of the driest places in Australia and it doesn't ever look as bad as that in summer. Couldn't believe the upgrade rates. Glad that the stunning milk float started up for you. Was driving yesterday and thought of you when I spotted a bright yellow Tesla, with big fake eyelashes on the lights. Anyway, welcome home. All the best from Australia 🇦🇺
