Yeah we ditched the PPF and made a custom diff nose mount on the front of the rear subframe. Worked a treat :)

@@Kyush4 PPF is a big brace that links MX-5 gear box and differential. Extending and fitting this under the car would of been very difficult.

The panels were j.blood AE86 Levin over fenders. The wide arch of the panel was cut and rivited on. The rear quarters were then cut and modified so the doors would still open.

Did you cut anything from the trunk while installing mx5 rear end ?

The trunk floor remained, but the rear seat buckets and wheel arches were cut out and replaced for clearance. There are some pictures on my Instagram @pazzaae86 Thanks!

We didn't modify the bumper much, I think maybe just a slight reprofile to the lip that sits around the wings.. the metal strip below the headlights was removed and we also cut the fenders off below the bumper line but If I remember correctly this wasn't necessary, but they were rusted out and not needed so they went, and we added a return lip to the wing while we were there, no sharp edges etc.
