I am so sorry that this happened to you and I hope that you have been given the Help and support you need. As a fellow Mama who also had a traumatic birth that ended in an emergency C-Section, all I can say is time is a healer and therapy helps and saying your story out loud also helps. My colleague told me her birth story before I went on maternity and I though 'oh that will never happen to me' and then the exact same thing did happen to me. I know everyone says it, almost to dismiss what happened to you but you and your beautiful baby are healthy and have so many wonderful things ahead of you. There are so many things that make me angry about what happened to yourself and me but what I will say is that it does make you stronger and more resilient. If you ever want someone to talk to, I am here.
