What if you get to hanging upside down, with the pivot point at the waist seems more dangerous.

What ropeman ascender do you have? I only found onea for 10mm rope and up. Seems like most rope now is 8mm

I do the same thing with my saddle when hunting from a treestand, like it a lot better then a harness

Isn’t this the same thing as wearing a saddle in a tree stand?
@djkilpatrick5256 Жыл бұрын
No. If you were to wear a saddle while hunting out of a hand on. You may just slide out of it during a fall. Saddles are designed to pull you into the tree in you fall

Just convert, Josh! No judgement from the saddle hunters!

I know Josh doesn't do it, but its funny how many stand hunters talk smack about saddles but you can see this works best and the similarities it has to just using a saddle 🤣

I heard Dan is making a platform so we might see some of the beast guys in saddles soon. I personally tried a saddle last year but I actually prefer the stand still but I can see why people do like it, just wasn't for me.
@usernamehere60612 жыл бұрын
@@PizzaSteveNY Everyone says that but I'm convinced its lack of experience and incorrect setup
@PizzaSteveNY2 жыл бұрын
@@usernamehere6061 lol or maybe people like different things. I ran a saddle most of last year, with 3 different platforms and ring of steps. I did purchase the phantom and John is 100 percent right with the two piece saddles.

step 1. use a "saddle" for a safety harness step2. hunt from a saddle just join the saddle craze too. its fun to hunt from
@beforetheecho2 жыл бұрын
It is in no form a saddle. You wouldn't want to use it as a saddle more than a few minute.
@erickeith65912 жыл бұрын
it doesn't look like it would be comfy as a saddle. hope it works good for you! have a great season! stay safe!
