I was standing right beside the big bud light inflatable watching that flip with my jaw on the floor, still have the video of it on my phone :) Loved the walk down memory lane, cheers!

Cam I hope you know that you are one of the main reasons i (and so many others) became obsessed with the sport as a kid. All the clips of you from so many legendary movies are the sickest things ever in the sport. Those clips from NWD etc are still what inspires me the most, more than anything else even today. Freeride, and mtb as a whole, peaked right then. Now there are all these kids who have been introduced via youtube etc who im not sure are aware of the legends who made the sport so great like you, berrecloth, agassiz etc. You are still the big dog for all the enlightened 😉

Love hearing all the stories. Maybe you could do one about the NWD segments, some BTS of the tricks. 🤘

Dude, I've been watching your career for decades. Vids, wins, ect. So great vid for memories. Thanks. The rest of your life is now open to be creative. Good luck. I got a few decades on you and was more a trail builder than competitor. While your were having podium moments I was fighting cancer. (Again, thanks, I have ridden vicariously) Now the disease and the treatments have left me with muscle wasting (no fun). So, it's e-bikes and road rides. BTW Central Virginia is an absolute dream for endless gorgeous countryside, deserted back roads and gravel. The little bit of single track we have I built and still enjoy as long as my battery holds out. At 70 the juice has me riding with the big boys again, woo-hoo!

I've been followin' you ever since I got into mountain biking in 2010 and it's been such a ride! You always have such a great attitude, creative riding, and constantly help move the sport and other riders forward. One time I raced at an event called Clif Bar Cykel Scramble on a pixie bike and was surprised to find out that THE Cam McCaul was commentating, and it made things that much more fun. Would love to ride or chat with you some day my dude. Keep on rockin' and thanks for everything you do!

Man, the drop in clips give me some serious nostalgia from watching that series as a kid. I still go back every now and then and watch old episodes again, it's some of the best early mtb content ever produced I'd say! Would love to hear you talk about it more, some funny stories or good moments and maybe a few clips to go with it- or perhaps even some other cool old stories you have in general! Was a good time we lived in back then :)

This is one of the best bike videos I've seen in a while! Genuine insight into your time working with Trek - starting off with those janky prototypes and progressing to completely dialled modern frames. It was also a great timeline of your career. I watched every second of the 29 minute video! Some of those clips from NWD and FMBWT are crazy even by today's standards. Love to see more videos where you talk about this kind of stuff!
