I agree that the sat nav is absolutely shocking. Did you know though you can put the screen in a better mode where you just have a rev bar vertically up the left side and more sat nav info on screen? Still not map view but clearer. It desperately needs the app sorting though, it’s so glitchy and often tells you to make the turn when you’re at the apex of the junction, it’s all over the place. I’ve still got my speed triple 1200rr but the only way I could have lost money quicker was to take £5000 in cash and set fire too it in the garden, really sad as it’s a good bike

@@Phillc748 Will look into changing the screen mode! I got mine used, 1 year old with 900 miles on it for 11k so im actually not out of pocket by much yet! 👌

@ you did well mate! It’s a hell of a lot of bike for the money, I did a trackday on mine in Sept, and it was super capable even on track, I paid £14k for mine new with 4 year warranty but yeah, they have dropped a lot

You mentioned that you wanted to mount a Quadlock onto the bike. I use the Evotech Performance QuadLock mount on my 1200RR, and love it!

Nice video... I had the 1200RR on loan for a month and loved it! I agree that the `Triumph on screen Nav sucks and use my phone with quadlock on my 1200RS. Evotech do an option also for the RR.

Lovely, lovely bike indeed. Personally I would go for the naked 1200 though, the RS with the factory flyscreen
@EddCroucher3 ай бұрын
Having ridden both, I agree that for street use the ergos are better on the RS. I just don't particularly like the insect-looking headlight and the mid corner feel is way better on the RR suspension. 👌

by chance were you near loomies last sunday, i saw a 1200rr as i was leaving and thats how i found this because i was searching for the bike

@@connorpestell8993 I do sometimes go to Loomies and caffeine and machine the hut but not recently. It was not me but It's near the southampton triumph dealership so I'm guessing they get a lot of triumphs there!

Lovely looking bike! Have you had any problems finding neutral and is the seat comfort reasonable? I am surprised you chose the RR over the Triumph Rocket 3 GT. I thought the GT would be far more comfortable! Thanks for uploading!
@EddCroucherАй бұрын
@@wakajawaka44 Neutral is a little hard to find but just have to be delicate with it! Never had a false neutral. I did love the rocket but you just feel like a proper Apex predator in this RR's riding position and its feel at lean is just sublime...

I test rode the R and the engine and brakes were mega. I couldn't get on with the riding position mostly because I've been riding an adventure bike so these super nakids just feel strange to me.
