mike - C6 ZR1 "Not a whole lot different then a base model C6". Love the channel Mike, but the C6 ZR1 was probably the biggest performance step out of any corvette to this day. first corvette to have carbon brakes, magnetic ride control, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires, an extra 150 horse power then the ZO6 and nobody saw it coming. I knew a sales guy from GM and he told me there was this rumour of a 'blue devil" corvette that was going to be released. Granted, it did look very familiar to the base model C6 to an untrained eye, but it was light years ahead of the base model C6. In 2009 when this thing came out, it looked like another grandpa corvette but instead it blew door off exotics on the drag strip and then would run circles on them at the track. this thing held the production record at the Nurgurgring in 2012. So give that thing the respect it deserves

Yeah, the 95’ ZR-1 (note the hyphenated ZR-1) had the LT5 engine which had (has) an aluminum block, four overhead camshafts, and 32 valves and was built by Mercury Marine Corporation. It produced 405 HP. And no, it wasn’t a ‘boat engine’. ;) My dad had one and I remember riding in it many times since he never stopped talking about it. He hasn’t changed and now owns a torch red 2011 C6 ZR1. Note: our C7 ZR1’s, and all others except the C4 ZR-1, also lack the hyphen in ZR1 and I think it looks better without it. And it's an important difference since it equates to approximately a 20 HP increase due to the lack aerodynamic drag as a result of improved boundary layer control. ;)

Back in the 90s I had race built 300Z that had low intake much the same as the height of the intake of what I see other TT C8s are being built like. My girlfriend borrowed my to go to the convenience store on the way back she drove through a large puddle of water that was deep enough to were the intake got dipped into the water which completely screwed up my very expensive motor. Now having said that LMR seems to be doing things their own way which is much different then the rest of the herd and so far they seem to be knocking it out the park every single time. I can't wait to see your C8 content

I know what you mean about going to multiple shops and not being truly happy until you found lmr. I’ve been in that boat. Had a GTO that was heads cam and always fought drivability issues. Then moved on to a ctsv and had boost issues on a build. Finding the right shop is key.

2 options. one add a bit of a roof lift to your current garage and then add a lift system... but like I said before you should be able to fit a 3 or 4 car garage with a loft man cave bar/ pool table area. according to my using Google maps you have the space if you take a little bit of the parking area out as well. you could also add a Cabana bar for outside pool area as part of the new garage. maybe a change room for the pool using what was once the Colorado parking space. if you put wide doors and tall ones on the new garage you could fit the truck in as well. Since you are talking of going to the beach a lot. and having a car lift so you can change your tires. it be nice. Imagine the Views. and the value it would add to your home. Since I saw your neighbors houses and well they dwarf yours. "not that yours is small" hey add a pinball machine too. and a car sim. Also I would update the outside look of your house. all your neighbors have Brick and or stone. with big Classic looks and yours has that 70's vibe. I would change it to stone and wood classic doors, the look would be imagine if a Do it yourself farmer won the Lottery. so all the new fixtures would be Copper. Lights and all. the railings on the man cave would be also browns concept. and then the ceiling would be all ship late. with pot lights...

You need to get some sort of lift system in your garage. That way you don't need to build another garage but can have two cars in one spot. Plus its good to do what little work you do on the cars. May have to do some construction on the roof of your home to raise it up to accommodate the lift, but still cheaper then building a new or additional garage.
