Hi! Yeah that does take a bit of set up, I might do a video about it (thanks for the suggestion). This support article from Alfred covers how to add dynamic dates into your snippets, which is what I did: www.alfredapp.com/help/workflows/advanced/placeholders/#date-time

This is amazing!! Bought the template. I’m newish to notion and am a little confused. There are a bunch of task databases and a few project databases. Do I need all of those?

Thank you!! There are only 3 databases (they're at the top under "Databases in this Template" on the Today Action Dash Page). Don't delete those, but you can move them around to a different page if you want. Each database has sample entries (there are 9 sample entries in the task list, and 2 sample entries in the project list, each sample entry has the word "template" in the name). You can delete the samples and add your own! Does that clarify things?

Actually, I'll change those to have "Sample" in the title rather than "Template" since I think that will be more clear. So yeah, you can delete those samples - thanks for asking that question!

@@thepowerofpd Hmm, I'm not entirely sure what the issue would be, but if you replace the sample projects & tasks with your own tasks, then they should show up on the main page, as long as you didn't delete the actual databases or sections on the main page. Notion has a good undo/ restore from trash feature if you deleted the wrong part :) Feel free to shoot me an email (contact info on my website) if there are any other issues!

Just purchased the template…that’s today happiness levelled up! Could you just help me out with the sleep tracking? Do I enter hours and minutes as a decimal? Does the database work this out from hours and mins?

Hi! So glad you liked the template! The template works with decimal numbers (Notion doesn't to time formatting for numbers) So you can choose what works best for you, but you could either mark 8:15 as 8.15 if you're most interested in logging the exact hours and minutes, or if you want to do precise averages over time you could mark 8:15 as 8.25 (.25 for the quarter hour) 8:30 as 8.5 (.5 for the half hour), etc.

I use a text expander called Alfred, which allows you to set a trigger to input the time & date info from your computer
